I observed that the divergences, doesn't matter if they appear on cci or on other various oscillators or indicators are, most valuable, entering on their signal at the end of the Asian session. I usually enter them in the interval of 6-8 am (GMT+2) and they work just fine like that. I never tested your strategy but I will make a back test with an EA, that allows me to put transactions in a certain time period from the past, as it would be in the present with few minor slightly differences.

My simple set up I put a 5 sma on a 20 cci with a zero line,and just trade the cross,you can use any ema as filter.Time is to precious for me to just wait on divergences.
Hey, its a disgraceful thing sometimes just waiting on and on for divergence signal to appear if you are not watching more pairs with different time periods (from 30m to W, inclusively). Trading, in general, implies more patience that pushing a slot machine button if you got my point. It's not about making easy money, it's a real art. And like other art, needs patience and handling with delicacy.

It would be interesting to put pictures almost in real time with closed transactions on the chart (both positive and negative), dragging them from the Account history if you haven't done it in the last posts (I haven't read only the first two pages of posting). Hello ererybody, I've got a question for people who using this system: How do you exit from the trade? or did you find another methods of exit?
Exit when standard indicator movement or divergence contradicts the direction of your trade, with matching price action.
which is the best divergence would you say, hidden or regular?
I am seeing some solid moves with hidden. All price movement seems to be foreshadowed and measured pretty well in CCI with both divergence types as well as with regular oscillation, trending, and breakouts.
I have heard several times that, among divergences cci is best one. So checking now with small modification to cci input parameter.

The hidden divergences are effective but I personnally prefer to determinated them by myself and it is so easy to find an hidden divergence

I gone through several systems in this forum and another useful free forum and downloaded plenty of indicators and documents.
I starts to combine two separate system and came up with this.

Pair: EURUSD
TF: 15M

System1 - CCI Divergence 5mn

I modified the CCI_Divergence_V1.1 so that I can input cci period and options for view all divergences or any selected divergence so that I can concentrate on only hidden divergence as thierry's advice.

System2 - 3amigos

added Matrix SDC indicator to view current trend

Hi FOREXflash, or anybody, ....do you know where to go in the code for CCI_Divergence_V1.1 to delete the display of CCI values that appear on the top left of the indicator window?
One of the best! Works well with Imrans basic system and the TDI. I use them both! They show the false signals. Marvelous indicator on higher tf's. I drop to the 5 minute/15 to access and enter.

Here is a few hints.......

Use bolinger bands for smaller TFs.....buy low, sell high
Use SR for bigger TFs.....buy low, sell high
Use zig-zag indicator, if divergance occurs at the same spot
where the zig zag "changed" direction that is a very good signal.
The bigger the TF, the stronger and more accurate the signal is!

The CCI indicator is an amazing tool. I often use a double cci 130 and 70 in vary much the same way. 130 is for defining longer term trend and 70 shows divergence patterns.

Right click on the indicator, open up cci properties, view the levels tab, and delete the ones you don't need.

Correction 170 defines trend and 34 for entries.

Here's a short demo of what I check for before entering a trade. It's not exactly the same as defined here in this thread.
