So BLUF, forget reading that log post if you're like me any want the meat and potatoes.
1. When you purchase an eval from MFFU, login and check you stats and make sure it doesn't say closed. That was my issue. I purchased 5 evals, 4 said in progress and the one I purchased said instantly closed. It's a glitch on their end.

They will refund your money with no hassle and you can purchase again if you choose to. I just had to send screenshots shots to the chat support.

not only they dont know how to trade. I guess majority of the issues comes from not reading their terms & agreement and rules thoroughly. Some of them have funny/dubious rules that raises red flags. Some props have not gained vast experience with traders and as such have limited rules and when a trader goes in and does some magic, they say NO, we do not accept this and then issues arise. For instance how can you beat them and in the end they consider an average trade duration of 15mins to be HFT ( based on Monty's post)? Some don't have the funds to payout maybe overwhelmed with traders' success and in the end struggle and find reasons (not even in T&A or ROE) not to payout.

Guys hi . What u think ab AquaFunded their 5k 2 step challenge with coupon costs 16 $ + feed . I think it is a great and cheap way to start your journey with prop fims and for the last half year their payouts rised from 1.2 m to 3.5 m . If someone worked with them would u recommend them or ?

I agree with Axi being top of the list. BTW, profit split goes to 80% as you progress to higher stages.
I am surprised Fundednext would be 2nd and ahead of FTMO.
On the paper Fundednext has a more hidden rules subject to interpretation where they can get you if they want.
I don't really know the other firms listed in between these two but I doubt they should belong there.

got two 200k funded from FTMO, as per today I still can get payout every month for the past 1 year, Now looking to buy another prop firm challenges, looks like fundednext will be my next choice. Anyone can suggest me better propfirm especially can give me max allocation, im looking forward to max 1mill funded account in total.

any trade below 15 mins will be considered scalp

Hit my DLL already today . Should've been more patient, oh well. Overall I'm content of this week, up $4778,92.
Took a payout of $1783,16, so the live account is back at $10.000,00. Have a nice weekend guys.

Monty, it's all good. I completely understand, and I wasn't at all concerned with props or how you make money with them. If you risk $50 to trade very risky with the possibility of losing it or possibly receiving a large payout, only to then potentially get banned again, that's your legitimate decision to do so.

I simply thought you meant you had an 85% win rate overall (for all your trading since you started), even though your stats don't show that in retrospect. It doesn't matter, as you said, as long as you make money with what you do, keep it up.

My approach would be to use a prop company a bit more „seriously“, to get as much capital as possible, and to get consistent payouts from it over the long term, just like I would with my own account at any broker. You and many of the people here seem to interpret and handle it differently. More just a short-term exploitation. I'm not saying my interpretation/approach is better. If you hit your personals goals like that, keep going.

prop are companies paid from the gaming fees of all people attend. its not like real deposits in real broker, what compensates for your losses. So Montys way make a lot of sense, because you never know :
- how long will this company exist
- how long they make money and have money to pay the winners
- when they change rules to survive or earn more
- when they kick you out because you get to expensive over time
- when government regulations maybe change the game

I'm glad you're so knowledgeable. Yes, as I said, you could see it that way. My impression "so far" has been that there are certainly reputable prop companies that are interested in finding long-term profitable traders and not in giving people one-time checks by taking high risks and trying to multiply their small challenge tenfold. At least, every prop company states on their website that they are NOT interested in attracting gamblers looking to enrich themselves in the short term.

If such a company means it the way they describe it, it's not surprising that you get banned from it. Incidentally, you can also use the same "model" in casinos, horse racing, or a thousand other establishments. If Props are no longer available, you can try your luck there.

no, you cant use it in casino!, this is gambling with unconnected probabilities. total different game, you need always luck here to win in long run! (blackjack in very small situations lets not calculate in here)

and the words you describe what prop use is often more marketing and not reality. they opened the casino by create a mathematically edge, but in a game with no fix math probabilities (against Casino!). So they need to use the rules changing to reduce or increase the Edge by her wins.

That is an inacuarte statement.......An above average trader has an edge. In casinos and horse racing, nobody other than the house has the edge.
If you are looking for long-term stable, I would suggest Darwinex or Axi (if not in US)....these are both backed by regulated brokerages.
On the prop side, FTMO is huge, more traffic than the the 3 largest futures props combiined. I recently took them on again as they re-established themselves in the US......in a colab with Oanda, another huge worldwide entitiy.
Futures props, Topstep ( I don't use) has been around since 2012.
The rest we cannot predict the future, so Monty hit and run style makes sense.
Now I will patiently wait for you to tell me all that is wrong with Darwinex, Axi, FTMO and Topstep.
We are getting close to the ban hammer here.....the negativity is at an insane level.

So you’re telling me if Monty say‘s to risk the full contract size to max. out his position size on 1 „bet“ is not the same as placing 1 bet on a roulette table? Yes he might have only risked 1% of his bank roll but the TASK itself has NOTHING to do with having a long term proven positive expectancy. Try doing that a 100 times and see where you end up? Don’t confuse gambling with professional gamblers with an long term proven „edge“ in what they are doing and who know about probabilities and mathematical advantages.

Anyhow. I’m already tired again of talking with obviously highly uneducated people who don’t know one’s ass from a hole in the ground and have nothing to show

you miss one point!
he is buying challenges at discount! so he get chance to get a prop account for a small fee activated in shortest time with 2 attempts in general (if would be 50/50 luck).
if you would speak about a real account he would do different! thats his prop trading style!

by the way, i trade already 20 years full time trader ... so i am already at medium field of trading i would say. Trading is full about probabilities, but you calculate it wrong!
you always make same mistake, you dont learn the basics first and this hits you hard when you get an answer.

and an other point: i never traded prop because of a lot of reasons, so i would even say i understand your points........ but i see also Montys and others points of view..... prop game is a different game to live trading account, because the house is put on different edge and rules.
