Winning strategies with templates

Found this by spending thousands upon thousands of hours on the internet searching everyplace I could find. I spend most of my nights in front of my PC when others are resting peacefully. Sooner or later this HAS!!! to yield results.

I am actually happy about the insult I received today - it served as a wake-up call. Don't cast your... comes to mind.

I am in this ONLY to secure funds for our real calling. I thought it would come through a sponsor, but to date I have been wrong. There are not too many real generous beings on this planet, no matter how good the cause.

I motivate you today, "seek & ye will find..." If I found it, so could you. And this is not even the best of the best. I am currently modifying it to work in full auto mode, nothing less would do for me. I have other things on my mind which would fulfill me more.

Another good strategy, super easy to automate. I now have two strategies that seems to work without fail in full auto mode. (However, most of the other templates would work for a fact trading them in full manual mode) If we do not have more power failures, I will let each one of these loose for a full day & post the results for all to see.

Yes, I know I am wasting actual trading time. Unfortunately I have to wait for a little funds to trade with. So, instead of being inactive, I am testing & automating various strategies. If all is well, I should be trading live within the next two weeks.

Maybe I'll experiment with running two separate instances of Meta Trader on my laptop, running both at the same time. Not sure if my low range laptop can cope with it, but it would be well worth a try at least. In my opinion, a dashboard is the most handy way running any strategy across multiple currencies. The drawback is that one is limited to the use of PINS for any form of automation and as most know PINS are very limited in what could be achieved, mostly comparing one binary state to another at best . Works good for anything to do with arrows, but unfortunately that is where it ends. I do not as yet have enough knowledge to create my own PINS. (Especially in my case where I am forced to use currencies with .pro extension - the spread on the alternate is way too high for anything fully automated - Most of the better PINS available do not recognize the .pro extension)

 

1. Will let this one run through the night & post results in the morning.
2. As it stands at 02:30 in the morning. Struggles a bit with the flat market conditions, but still in profit.
3. Yes, I know profits are ridiculously small. I am testing the concept. Once satisfied I'll increase lot sizes.

Decided to specifically automate one of your TRASH strategies to see if what you said was based on experience or just your personal opinion. Just let it loose, 10 minutes ago. I'll keep on updating progress over here for anyone interested.

3. When any indicator turns against the direction, it will close the trade, fully maximizing the results.

Starting a new day at ten past midnight. If Escom & internet holds, hopefully I can document the third day's success story from start to finish.

 

1. Market started moving.
2. Success three days in a row! Wonder if that makes this good - trading right through news events and all.
3. Maybe full automation CAN work after all.
4. Using lot size of 0.01. Time to push it up to something serious. My aim for next week.
5. Watch this space to see how money can make money.
6. Seems the way for this is to let everything run till late afternoon, then close all trades & bank the profits for the day.
7. Maybe 07h00 to 17h00 or so-ish.
8. It seems that with this you look at around at least 700 pips a day or so which is not bad for such trash.
9. Virtually NO drawdown - three days in a row!

Please pm me with suggestions. I any case, I am updating the results regularly. Rather wait a little and decide for yourself how high the risk would be. In the meantime, I'm going to make the same offer to family & friends. That way I'll at least get started.

 

1. Rest assured, I've made my point. I did what I said I would do.
2. I'll only post updates upon requests. I am well satisfied with the results. Now I can not only make a living, but pursue our dream in earnest.
3. I will no longer flood this topic with updates. Life will now open the door for us that was promised. I WILL have all my toys in future - no longer just wishful thinking.
4. The song for the Trash-man IS coming as promised. I'm already working on it.
5. And most of all: YES! trading CAN be automated - at least in my opinion that is.

So - what are you saying? You would not share any of your winning strategies with us. Shame! But now I must?

I shared the template that I use for my automation. You would not have done same. So exactly what's your point mate IF any? I did not try to sell anything to you, now did I? Yes, in the process I managed to create something that works. So I am giving someone privately an opportunity to make money whilst at the same time getting me up & running as well. I DID make it clear that I would not turn this topic into a commercial one and I do communicate in private with those showing interest.

Am I proud of my creation? YOU BET!!! How many times did I read that you cannot use pure automation for trading? In my opinion I just did - but hey, time will tell. So why do you and your friend come gate crashing here - I will now also include you in the song that's forth coming. I love playing with automation in the music sector as well & you've just inspired me into a new project.

For those interested

1. I've now created two extra pins - Conservative 1 & 2.
2. The drawdown as is is already very low, if any. Check the screenshots.
3. But what if I could put a trade almost direct into profit when opening?
4. Off course there's no guarantee of what will happen afterwards, but at least you start from a winning position.
5. Someone requested that I back test this - unfortunately that's not possible with a Dash type EAX.
6. So I'll let it run next week with some serious lot sizes and then we compare original against new.
7. Obviously it would take FAR fewer trades - why tamper with something that already yields 700 pips a day?
8. I love automation and for me this is a personal challenge. Whether it works or not, 700 pips can still be had per day - or at least so it seems for now.
9. Maybe three days are not enough to prove a winning concept - but from what I've read so far this is quite astonishing, running through news & all.

1. Within 30 seconds of opening the trade! - Ill upload the equity graph shortly showing exactly what happened since opening the trade.
2. I might consider adding momentum to the equation. At least it's not running against the intended direction.

Nope - I will continue refining these conservative pins. I will start Monday morning (Escom & Internet access permitting) posting results. I will try my best to let these tests run uninterrupted. Unfortunately the two new pins are data hogs (not because of a specific indicator, but because of how I use them) and if I do too much in the background my ancient laptop freezes. Not a problem in itself, but I loose the history data of the equity curve as a result & I would really like to keep it intact for the whole of the week so I can upload some verifiable screenshots.

Sorry my friend. The last template I posted links for is the one you are looking for. My automation is based directly off that. Not one of my EAX's would ever become available. I think I've paid it forward more than enough in my life. I've lost faith in the concept - I no longer believe in it. And I pride myself of being a SUPER optimist.

Others do same from the basis of a working life - I do not currently enjoy that luxury. All I have is a dream with promises of the funds required for it. My hart is hardened, something I never thought could ever happen. However, I enjoy playing with these & especially the automation part of it. And I enjoy posting the results & proving that being poor is not necessarily evidence for being stupid also.

Here is another template I'm putting together for private purposes. Anyone spending same amount of time searching as I do can find these indicators and assemble something similar. I've already given many links where these indicators can be found - if you read everything as I do.
