We had to pull our GA sell order last week due to price hitting our entry price but not being triggered in due to spreads. Well, GA is still at a KL and now reacting and its the same with EA, but EA is showing bearishness signs and giving us a confirmation, so....

I just shorted EA. Weekly KL BR

We do have another KL (BR again) just above (the other blue box). Unfortunately, thats how it is and price is giving us a confirmation so, we take the trade and plays the odds.
I like your clean charts and it’s easier to analyse without the clutter. We have some similarities on the ‘strategy’ but I trade at a lower tf.

Closed EA right now with a partial loss. Daily broke and closed above the BR KL, not showing what we were expecting in order for us to stay in the trade

We have a cluster of resistance (red box) and im unsure as to where price will reverse (like everyone except these SMC traders who seems to ALWAYS snipe entry every single trade for a 1:100 RR). So I placed a sell order at the first big, major weekly wick with a Stop covering the whole zone. For a pair as volatile as GA, 110 pips SL isnt that much.

At the same time we have a buy pending order at the BR that we took last week as a sell. We exited BE and now price broke that zone. Im expecting a retest an a continuation. For the buy order, the SL is below the thrust candle on the Daily (the PB)

Everyone has an idea about what the trend is. Longer time frame traders will not have the same conclusion as the lower time frame traders. Since no ones knows what is the trend and WHEN its going to end (the trend is your friend until it isnt anymore), Im more of a KL trader and I believe in good places to buy or sell.

And remember, you might have an objective way of knowing the trend (200 D moving average for example), but its not uncommon for price to violates your "trend" and therefore giving you a signal of reversing only to keep going in the original direction. So, why not try to be positioned both ways?

Hey TheMan10,

Welcome to the thread. It seems you are trading the SMC way with the FVG. As long as you are using higher time frame for your charts, I do not mind. Note that you have to call your trades live or in advance, not after the trade has moved in your intended direction.

How is the trade going so far?

My TP are only on the chart for my first partials. I DO NOT take profit. I let the market tell me its time to get out

Initially, even if we had a DAILY break above blue KL, when it was coming down for the retest, I truly hesitated to follow my plan because the Weekly didnt close above the KL and now, it was just looking like a "fake out" on the Weekly. Now, price could very well retest our entry next week and take us out BE but it doesnt matter.

What matters is that we followed the plan. On the Daily, everything looked good, but the Weekly scared me. Something I like to tell myself oftentimes is that regardless of price, off fundamentals, of KL, of SnR, regardless of the trend even, there are good places to buy and good places to sell.

Hey guys, just to let you know Im still in those trades I called last week and that Im thinking about closing this thread. Since im the only one posting and not receiving any questions, it is more like a journal of my trades and I already Journal elsewhere so pretty pointless to continue.

I will think about it but for those of you who follow, I just wanted to let you know im thinking about shutting it down. I just hope I helped some of you or gave some of you insights on how trading can be done without indicators and in a simple manner.
