Thanks for the comments on my trade guys. As always, learning something more everyday.

Before reviewing the thread this morning the first thing I saw was that reverse hangman on the EU and I said, I'll bet 131 took that and grabbed a bunch of pips. Nice trading again today.

Took short on the GU on retrace back to the 15M 10EMA after break of low.

Covered at +17 at 50. S/L to B/E +1. Will most likely close out at the London close in 30 min depending on PA at that time.

Went to take off another 1/4 here but accidentally closed out the remaining 1/2 so I'm out for 29 full pips.

Haha, thanks!
Hey, nice catch getting in on the cable short of the 15min 10ma. Ok you didn't hold for all the move, but it was a great entry. Well done!

Since I accidentally exited, I should have added that 1/2 back in on the retrace and rode it to the bottom. Oh well, there's another bus coming right around the corner.

Got in long on cable as the 4hr is still holding above that trendline. I was waiting for a decent entry after the pin formed on the 4hr. Then we had a bearish pin on the 1hr and price dropped through the ma's, and I thought I'd try a 35/50ma cross and reverse play (well it's more a range play really as the low of the range is here) Not an easy trade to take, but I entered straight after that long red candle closed through the ma's with a small wick at 95. Have just covered 1/2 +15 pips at the 35sma, and moved my SL to BE. 4hr and 15min charts of entry below

Closed out at +4. Unable to get above the 50EMA on the 4H and not liking all the wicks on the 15M. May look to reenter on a retracement.

Yes, Aussie finding the 60 area tough. I went long on euro (also took a 2nd cable long earlier) as it's a bit clearer in terms of a breakout although has resitance in the 80area. Entry on euro below

Yeah, AU was looking stronger when I entered but the EU really popped. I was thinking about entering the EU on the retracement to around the 50 area but didn't pull the trigger. Perhaps I'm thinking a little too much...

As you said the other day, I need to pull the trigger when I see a setup.

Let me see if I can guess where you took your 2nd cable long...

Big red candle failed to close below the bottom of the hammer/pin. Next bar started heading higher.

Yes, but don't worry, it's not an easy entry. I didn't wait for the candle to close to confirm PA, ( if I had, I would have entered much higher) I just went with what I could see happening within the bars, that the 50 level, fast ma's and trendline was holding in the smaller TF's and just got in and followed the ride up. Closing the rest out +6b as I don't like the last 15min close for longs

Haha, no I wish... now that is an aggressive entry! I actually entered straight after the following bar closed a DBLHC, as we had had the ECB news. I took a screenshot of entry earlier and got 13 pips out it up to the 35/50 ma's

That's what I was seeing as well, just didn't execute. This is why I have the small 5M window. See how the 5M was showing that the 50 level was holding. Could have entered when the next 5M bar failed to go lower...
