Grabbed a quick 20pips and I'm only leaving 1/4 on SL at BE now. Not giving it back !

It's funny though, those mini tweezer bottoms after a long run are actually surprisingly reliable at giving pips. Been testing around those a lot on the sim and they are good but really tough to take.

Yes, I nearly entered after the inverted hangman, but when the pin crossed and closed above support that was enough for a decent scalp. I nearly closed the last portion after that last bear candle, but will leave it on as it's low risk now and Euro looks to be finding short term support here above 1.23

Aha, so you actually entered two candles later than I thought!

Nice work man.

Yes, not quite so ballsy! We were at weekly and daily support, and had stalled. My entry was directly on the open of the candle after the pin taken pretty much at the same time as the screenshot I posted earlier

Closing out last part here at resistance +40 pips. If we didn't have NFP coming up I would hold and my stop up, but I'm sure I'll get whipsawed out with news

Well after NFP it looks like a change of direction is happening. Bears couldn't take it down. I tried an entry off the 35sma after the long bear candle closed flat against it and it had made a decent retrace. Taken 1/2 off at +20 and SL to -5

Haha, Captain. I'm getting a wheelbarrow for when I go down to the shops... Enjoy the weekend everyone. Have a great time away, Trotty.

Leaving the last part of my long on with SL at BE. With luck we might get a gap up over the weekend

I'm sorry but:

A) I am not a signal service. That is not the reason I post charts here. I'm still learning here, and just looking for potential areas for trades and taking the setups as they come along. I'm not trying to prove anything, not claiming to be some big shot trader. I'm just here to learn, find decent setups and discuss them with the good people on here

B) It's not possible with my broker anyway...

That makes 2 of us, at least there are a few traders still hanging around. It looks like there is enough info in the thread and pdf's to support the method though. I have only been trading this for a couple of weeks but thus far the results are encouraging. Only time will tell if it will stay that way.

yeah ive been backtesting the crap out of it on the simulator and in my live account too, made 45% in may, something i noticed that trader uses that i also found useful is adding the volume to the indicators, usually pins with high volume seem to be a stronger signal

Good morning all, and welcome to the thread steep and rgrace. You're right about this thread- it's a shame the original crew no longer post, but everything you need is within these pages. It's a lot of reading and a lot of screentime... and that's just the easy bit! But I really believe that if you stick at it and are disciplined in your trades then there's nothing to match it. Steep, yes I like to have the volume on my LTF charts (15min and the odd cheeky look at a 1 min), but it's not necessary for this method, and I don't want to overcomplicate things. I really only look at it if something jumps out at me. Please feel free to post charts/ideas you have.
