DislikedI agree with ur direction assessment..But pls remember,
Profitable Trading is about "right timing" especially for smaller TFs speculators like us...
With the use of vol and sonic R, we can enter at pretty precise timing for mkt entry...
For HanKT case on UJ, his long may eventually get it right but he have to go underwater(big drawdown) or even lost hit SL before it is proven right..
I hope you guys get my point..
SonicIgnored
I have been using volume indys, studying and experimenting with their various attributes, for several years now. And at this point, I have the feeling that the ONLY attribute with consistency of meaning and results is what you have termed "stopping volume". And the indy that best reveals it is the SonicR Volume indicator, but with a minor adjustment.
In the chart attached, the SonicR Volume indicator is used. However, the colors tab is changed to display from below normal to 2x normal as one color (light blue). Only volumes more than 2x normal are a different color. And using a short averaging period (10) seems to best show these "stopping volume" events. And sometimes we will see "starting volume" events, too.
I am still studying this, but it seems much more simple and reliable, like the Sonic R System itself. This display of volume does away with over examining volume, expecting it to tell us too many of the other things, things ambiguous and of inconsistent results.
