I am staying out of the Asian session as much as possible at this stage.

Just reading this Emotion free trading book, very interesting.

If you are sure you are using the fibo expansion and NOT the fibo retracement tool, then this is how you do it.

NB: Dot #2 is ONLY used for moving the entire expansion and is NOT used to mark a high or low.

Exactly,..this is what you/we need.
Trade analysis is ‘more or less’ taken care of..(and will review time to time thou)
All we need is more mental discipline and self control..

Hi Rastaman,
Thanks for the detail explanation on throwing the fib expansion. I have attached a picture showing the fib expansion on MT4 which is only capable of throwing the expansion from point B but not from point C as done by DDaytrader.

Normally we click the Fib expansion tool then place it on point A and drag the mouse and release it at point B to get the expansion lines. But some softwares like Trade Station we are able to do another drag from point B and release the mouse at point C to get a final projection from point C.

I am not sure how DDaytrader do it.

Harry, I am using MT4. With it you can place A anywhere, then B anywhere, and then C anywhere. Attached are two pics with A/B in same place (though they can still be moved), and C first one place, then moved to another. MT4 is very flexible and I do not see what you are saying about not placing the expansion study as ddaytrader did.

Edit: In third chart, I simply grabbed the dot between A and B and moved the whole study so that A went where C was. Then I fine tuned B by moving it slightly to where I wanted it at B2, and the same with C which I placed at C2. This is very flexible.

GU: Shows an interesting situation where price has pulled up out of Dragon twice in vacinity of DPV, and all the while CCI is drifting upwards. It is as though the DPV area will be the decider, but only after the large groups of trading syndicates join in later in the session....FO, LO, USO. The wave action is very clear here so far. And unlike EU which is already out past the 100% FE, GU is still very close to home base with lots of room to run, if you are looking at the fibonacci expansion status.

Edit: But suppose this should start running down instead of up? As regards the FE tool, swing A up to A2, swing B down to A, and swing C up to C2......, and adjust your chart since the direction would be south.

EU: I know the wave has been looking strong upwards, and we trade what we see. Just keep in mind what there is to see on H4....price at resistance area, Dragon downwards, 89ema downwards, CCI in bear territory and not looking all that bullish.....

Taking that into consideration, don't be surprised if the upward look about this dissipates and price starts to make downward wave action.

In any case, we trade what we see. So far there is no setup because if long, then price needs to pull back to/into/thru Dragon, and it has done none of those, not yet anyway. If it does, it will be interesting to see if it goes thru and starts exhibitions downwards, or bounces back northwards.

This is all to help with the patience aspect of trading and with being picky about the trades....about keeping an open mind. It is early yet in the hunt.....

I don't like what we are seeing in the majors today, High, Low then Higher high only to be followed by an extreme Lower Low that creeps back up again. It is freaking me out.

Yep, let's crank up the band and sing the "Whip 'n Saw" tune! Here is what I am seeing on GU...

Price made lower high at DPV and then a sudden strong trade count drop, followed by about 50% pullback where is is in consolidation. Has not made a lower low, but I wonder if ddaytrader would consider this as ASonicR, inasmuch as PA failed at strong level, the DPV.

By the way FFCAL is running ok, and the only red triangle note in Experts Log is about a file that the program cannot delete. Now, why would it want to delete a file? Anyway, it seems to be running as it always had. Maybe there are more recent releases, and with greater problems????

I was getting that error message even with the old version.

I think GU is going to take a dive when the Halifax news comes out and continue its downward trend.

GU: There goes off another round of bells....and down she is going some more....

Edit: I look at Tp being at whole number 1.6300 around S2 level. It might bounce up before, or drive right on thru, or both, one after the other. But I'll stay with it for a while longer.
