DislikedWell, if you consider the last hour range, i.e. 4PM-5PM NYC Friday, then you really have a market that has rolled open in Sydney at the upper limit of that range. The reason to consider the last hour range of the week is that many banks shut down all trading at 4PM, and the last hour is ususally just settlement jockying. For example, IBFX has not yet opened for trading (they open at 6PM EDT Sunday, and as you can see, what you are calling a gap up open would be a flat open at IBFX. For a gap to be meaningful gap, it really needs to open outside...Ignored

I am not a VSA expert. I am not a volume expert.
I know that Sonic uses VSA, and we have a few others who read here who profess to know a thing or two about VSA. I'd like to hear comments concerning my long EU, which combines an S/R area with a long bar on high volume.
