tah, how has your trading been since you started using fixed SL?

I find channels very useful to understand the value of the currency.
I mark some possible swing levels from daily chart (1.5910 - 1.5820). If its
a down channel like GU i always wait a wave to go long (this morning). In a down channel i dont wait waves to go short just the resistances inside the channel. You are right. PA might act as you say but even in that case selling the resistance mostly allow me to put my SL @ BE.

I have not posted all trades yet. Of those closed and posted so far this week I have ten total, 6 gained, 4 lost, for a net gain of 817 pips. Those pips are not made large due to multiple part trades. Those pips are based solely on the distance from EP to close, and with the spread subtracted.

Considering my one UChf trade netted 641 pips, the rest were unremarkable. Remove the UChf trade from the calculation, and my net gain is 176 pips on all the rest.

I can't exactly say the SLs were fixed, as I did adjust it on several trades that ran into market volatility. My progress is slow, but my SL management will improve over time.

The profits from the closing of "experiment" trades, of which there were two groups posted this week, are not included in the above figures.

And what, pray tell, has been "after the fact" concerning the SonicR M15 trades I have posted in the last week?

When price comes to resistance, I trade short, or not at all.

When price comes to support, I trade long, or not at all.

I sell rallies against resistance.

I buy pullbacks to support.

Trading break ups above resistance or break downs below support is a suckers game. Don't believe me? How many times have you traded the BO only to see price reverse on you and head the other way?

Let price breakout and then go long on the SonicR pullback that tests the BO level.

When price arrives at an S/R area, it can do one of two things: It will either continue (breakout) or reverse. It will not sit still and go sideways forever. It will either breakout or it will reverse. The money is easiest when you trade the SonicR reversal. The next easiest money is to sit out the initial breakout and wait for the SonicR retest.

You see a 50/50 and play both.

I see 50/50 but trade the one with the best odds.

As a result, I have an edge.

During the past week,, and largely in response to your challenge, I have posted 5 winning M15 SonicR trades in a row with an average profit of 123+ pips. I have gone so far as to post the account info showing actual EP, actual SL, and actual TP as having actually been traded. But I feel that I could post 100 winning trades in a row with an average profit of 200+ pips and you will still fight me every step of the way.

You will know that you have arrived when you no longer feel compelled to fight me; because once you arrive, you will see that I am right. Right now, you do not see what I see when you look at a chart. You will know you are finally seeing what I am seeing when you no longer fight me. Your goal should be to get to the point where you no longer want to fight ddaytrader. Because once you arrive at that point, you will be a happy trader.

I am not always right.

I do have losses - plenty of them.

When I am wrong, it is because I have made a mistake in my analysis.

I do make mistakes - plenty of them; and that is ok, because I always trade with a stop loss.

So, yes, I make mistakes.

But I am right on this: If you learn to properly identify actual support and actual resistance on H1, H4, and Daily TF charts, and if you discipline yourself to align your M15 SonicR trades with those actual S/R zones, then you will be a happy and consistently profitable trader. You will never be 100%. But that doesn't matter, because with proper money management, you can be only 33% and still get rich.

And one last thing - My way is not the only way. I get that.

But my way is a way that works. And I am simply trying to communicate that to those who might benefit from my having shared it.

AU Long, buy stop 1.0617, SL 1.0563, TP 1.0707 ... let the market decide...

There is a double top at 1.0659 wouldn't this be a good place to exit?
I can not see any obvious resistance at 1.0707

I think DD will answer himself, but from my side please open H4 TF and you will see these S&R levels..

p.s. this is my way of trade with FE, and 1.0655 level is good for TP1

Why you said "too fast to short" ??

Coz I just Short AUD/USD 1.059x same place and same time as your chart where price just went below Dragon showing new Lower-High, and it went below the previous Higher-Low.

Edit: Just added chart. After my entry, saw a few candles with longer wicks pointing down, don't like these wicks, hmmm ...

I have checked the daily, 4H and 1H and I can not see any obvious resistance at 1.0707. I saw 1.0659 as the next major resistance which lines up nicely with your FE 1.0655.

Why is he not profitable?

You mean based on the Orange Support line from DD's chart.

This type of comment can make you return to a kidergarten, not kindergarden.

You should know a 10V+ vouch has no meaning to the profitability of any trader here.
The many vouchs could be they are very helpful as well and contributed with more useful comments on FF.

Absolutely NEW to FX and wanting to try something that really works! For all folks who have followed and used this system, is this the one you'd recommend I start with... in other words, does it REALLY work and make money???
