I did mentioned there was Red AUD news that could affect JPY cross which you may missed this AUD news.
And if you review EUR/JPY around the time you mentioned over few weeks, you will see there is some spikes during these times, so it is nothing out of the ordinary.
There maybe some news during these trading times previous weeks and also these trading times may coincide with Asian traders just settle in.
