PipDizzle, indeed the trend may have reversed to down now. And that target area may indeed find PA in it in time to come. However, I am not trading Sonic R. as a swing, or long term method. In fact, I'd really like to condition myself to take intra-day profits within the RgH/RgL limits, and look for new setups afterwards......to develop a more accurate and responsive style.

EU:

Entered EP1 short = 1.4076. On M1, following the USD high impact release, you could watch as the BBs started to work the price higher. And the higher it went, the more trading activity there was. I took this as a sign the BBs were pumping the price to acquire shorts at a higher price. This was not a SonicR entry, but a SonicS entry (Scout) based on the price being rushed up to next S&R, and high trading activity then occurring at that level. These are riskier trades than SonicR. The price could still be worked even higher.

Yeah u right there is high impact news but when my all analysing told me any setup i take order any buy or sell .....its work for me ...

Well done? Yes, following the USD high impact release, the price has moved higher.....about 15 pips higher. And how do we know that is on genuine buying vs a pump to sell off?

Price is approaching another S&R levels, so it could go higher to that level. The trend is down and the volume appears to be "stopping" volume on M15. On M1 it sure looks like the BBs were in a hurry to drive it up......before.....they started trading more heavily.

Anyway, yes this is speculation. But reason to be cautious. Reason to not count chickens before they hatch by saying, "Well done."

I remember Sonic cautioning about Monday trading, when the BBs "prepare the market" (my words) for what is to come during the week. Furthermore, and very importantly, this move is a "high impact release" move. Things/PA needs to settle out before trader decides on direction for a SonicR trade.

Just imho.

EJ:

Three times after the release, they pumped and dumped, right up to the next higher S&R level. Now it looks like they are making no pretext, and are heavily shorting.

All I am saying, and keeping in mind Sonic's cautions about Moday trading, is that it is best to go with the trend, or not go at all. And, if you can go with the trend via a SonicS (Scout), even better. When a release is involved, a Scout opportunity with the trend might develop. If so, that is better than a SonicR against the trend on Monday. Is it not?

Aligater, please be specific.....in everything you post. If not, if you leave words subject to interpretation, there is no need to post at all! Which direction are you referring to? It could have been either at the time of your post. Have you decided on one by now?

IMHO, it is better to take a position and turn out to be wrong, than to mince words that could be interpreted either way because you really are too timid to take a position. Stand up and be counted, right or wrong, or hold the post!

I enjoy your posts, aligator, so please take this in the spirit it is intended.

I agree with you, PipDizzle. The BB's pumped it just above the upper S&R, as you said....to hit stops on shorts, and also to tigger longs into the market....to create liquidity for BB shorting. Then they rapidly dropped the price down thru the next lower S&R, locking out those longs. There might be a retest of the S&R level, which would be a good shorting entry opportinity (imho) should it happen.

Added EP3 long = 0.9537 (2nd pic). The opportunist's "Grind & Grab" manipulation, and with nice "stopping volume", I found too attractive to not take further advantage of myself.
