No. Not yet. Sonic and I are working on something that could involve a more encompassing revision/upgrade. It is in his hands now to play with and evaluate.
I am real excited about releasing the S&R indicator(s). They could obsolete the use of Levels and pivots altogether. A not yet mentioned new indicator might be a "Lite" version of the Chart Panel, sans all the items that the S&R indicator(s) would obsolete, and other items so that it requires no setup; no GMT or DST stuff, etc.
......just download and install, and off you go!
In all fairness to Sonic, he just got the latest from me several hours ago. And he should not be rushed in the matter. So, folks, please be patient. This surely will push out the date for any next release, but no matter what gets his approval, it will be worth waitng for. The keynote for the next release is consolidation and simplification.
I can tell you a little more of the S&R indicator(s) now that the coding is done. As I said, the indicator does not calculate S&R. There is no coding method (fractal or otherwise) that can even come close to getting the best lines, the way the eye can. So, the indy becomes the place where you enter the line values you see that you want to become a growing library of S&R lines. One indicator for each traded pair. The indicator enables you to easily manage (add, delete, change, reorder, what range of lines to display, etc.) the growing library of S&R. The S&R indicators you create (some starters will be provided) can all be added to whatever template you use, because only the S&R indicator that coincides with the pair symbol on the chart will activate. This enables you to change chart symbols without worrying about deleting one indicator and adding a different one for the new symbol. They can all be there, and just the proper is activated.
Support and resistance is at the roots of the Sonic R. System. PA at S&R is part of evaluating a setup. And when a trade runs, historic PA (just what the S&R indicator is all about) is the fundamental basis for setting targets. I would entirely expect that once the S&R indicator is in use, other previously used aides such Levels and pivots really will not be needed anymore. So, the S&R indicator is not just something new and extra. It will help keep us in the area that is fundamental to Sonic R. and greatly simplify things by eliminating the need for a number of other things currently used.
The Sonic R. System (including the Sonic S. Sytem, i.e., Sonic Scout) is elegantly simple. My wish is that the new S&R indicator will be a tool that makes it even more so, and helps to keep it that way.
