yF uses CME data refer yF here Gold Feb 23 (GCG23.CMX) and this can be applied to movements in XAUUSD Forex, I tried it with ClusterDelta data very successfully however had unreliable connection issues so stopped. If M1 volume can be extracted/downloaded from yF then this would be advantageous to working with Gold, yes/no, why?

The problem of indicators is that they are showing the same signal for a crowd. If you check there are no much volume on the market. Let's say it is around 200-500k$ per minute. Now imagine that you and me will impact it with 100$. Ok? Okay. But if we are = 1000 people? If 10000? 10000 * 100 = 100k$, but the volume is only 200k$. And please don't think that 200k$ is the real volume. It is degen gamblers's 20x leverage volume. So can /20 it and that will be REAL market.

So, a lot of people with same indicator == we will kick the market's ass. That is not a good idea. I mean that the approach will stop working. It works good if the impact is not bigger than 1/25 of the minute volume.

That's why indicators, bots and the main logic is not for public for now. Of course some people have my indicators because they contribute and share.
So I'm very happy that 99.9% are drawing fancy lines and use RSI to get oversold areas haha

Also I'm a little bit lazy arse. For example people ask mo to upload to github my dashboards. But the bybit websockets has an issue, and there must be a script that check the connection. It checks the database and restart the trades downloader if there are no data for 10 seconds. But why I'm not uploading it? Because it is too complicated and there will be hundred of questions asking for support. By the other hand I can create docker container with all the setup, but as I said I'm too lazy for that

And even more. This thread was created to find like-minded people. And I have found them! We are working together, sharing ideas and even code. I have found 2 very cool coders, one guys helped me to start coding with python, another guy helped me to study pandas dataframe library. And RickM - he just a father of all that stuff. It was his idea and his approach about all the volume. And he just taught me. I just took it and created the community around + code all the stuff (because remember I'm too lazy to click buttons hahaa). Of course guys have all my recent indicators, bots and so on.


About volume data. I need REAL TRADES DATA. Not the volume itself for each candle. I can calculate it myself. I need deeper data. I need 200ms tf to trade, not the 1m. 1m is too big, the data is averaged. I don't need it. That's why only CME for forex is good because it shows real trades with decent speed.

You know, i ready so many times that the markets were manipulated, so i knew it, theoretically; but to know it pratically is a totally different world.
All those people speaking about it were just showing classic candel charts and indicators, saying "here there is a liquidity grab" and so on; but the only way to really see this manipulation, and so the only way to start the real trading journey, was through volume yes (what else could it be really...it becomes obvious once you know it, like in those zen stories), and yes when you see bearish market orders but the price keeps going up...well, you saw something, a light turns on, and different things start to make sense.
I thought many times i was in the right path, and i was always wrong at the end; like Ryu says the basics are everything, i'm starting again from there.

mt 4 volumes! is just a tick calculator!
but if we search the price that has been crosses mant times .. may we estimate the critical point (unseen support/resistance)

You can use a Volume profile for that, then the resistance is not unseen but its visible and very tradeable.

You have a bigger problem than worrying about dead periods.

The Day opens and close of any market normal creates large nodes on Volume profile tools which gives the impression that these levels may be important.
Often they aren't important as the real move of the day often occurs later or earlier by 10 to 15 minutes.
These nodes are more important but gets over shallowed by extreme volume at open / close.

Volume profile tools work better for intraday scalpers on lower time frames, not on useless nodes coming out of a Day candle.

Men, you have to study how market works and a math a little. You are totally wrong.
Leverage you are using = lots you are trading. Orderflow data contains lot sizes that you send to the market. It doesn't matter and no one knows what leverage you are using. But the average leverage on crypto 100x market is 20x. So REAL money is 1/20 of that number. If we are talking about 50x coins, then the average leverage is 5-10x. So you can /5 that number for sure. If you see 500k per minute, it is only 50-100k of real money.

Sorry I didn't get how many times crossed price can show us support/resistance. Sup/res is orderbook. There are no orderbook data on forex. If you want to see the support/resistance you can get CME data and check the orderbook's density or orders. Plus don't forget that there are stops hidden around and you can be very surprised how many of them it can be.
Also remember that orderbook and limit orders are wished. They can be removed, places, replaced and so on.
