I like your R-P-S analogy.

Imho the market plays rock-paper-scissors with traders for much of the early day.


For example. Anyone can open up a 1hr EURUSD chart right now (chart time 05:00).

Market gapped up at day open, then reversed. Next hour candle retraced up just 50%.
Following hour completed the 50% move up to market open (or thereabouts).
Next hour full candle back down to 2 hours ago.
Next hour candle reversed fully back up to market open.
Then reversed again the last hour.

rock-paper-scissors.

Generating buyers & sellers as certain indis etc tell some traders the market is about to now find a definite direction.
Good fortunes.
Some will win their trade, some will lose, and the rest will break-even.
Mission accomplished (algo lol).

Then when a breakout really begins, and traps some early breakout folk (NOT the indi folk this time),
the market will then likely “flip” again, to shake a few more out, before it's last stages.

Between London & NY the market “may” make its directional move. Pre-NY.

So. Keep your eyes peeled for the R-P-S sleight-of-hand that the market likes to play on us retail traders.


And when the market decides to make its directional move (today or tomorrow),
it will head EITHER down to 1.16920 or up to 1.17650 and complete its current mission.

plenty of pips today and I took some..,
I was scalping and did not try to catch daily movement..,

in the afternoon:
my fastest positive trade.., 16 sec.., + 8 pips ( overall 835 (+))

& fastest negative one.., 17 sec.., - 16 pips ( overall 192 (-))

yes, my profit/loss ratio ( scalping ) - 1:2 or 1:1.5

I hate it to be sincere ( I am talking about the trend or any "steady" movement that drive you crazy when you on the wrong side ) .., but I am "in" ( on the "right" one ) and after 50 pips DD I am now in profit around 90 pips and will stay "till the end of.., )
time to learn.., never too late
