DislikedJust entered eurusd at the black line. Had compression and also got the bearish pin bar on 30 mins. One mistake at need to learn from though is audusd I had left in a trade overnight and although moved into profit it quickly moved back against me and made a loss.. Sometimes I enter too impulsively, that is when I need to be as objective as possible. As in reality I don't think audusd had such a good setup with the compressed zone. {image} {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} The AU was a good setup. We always need to manage our expectations, however.Ignored

DislikedGU has reached a historic level of Jan 2021 and currently showing good signs of a possible pull back. I am long here with stop few pips below historic swing low. {image} {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} Sorry, but there are no "good signs" to be seen - this is what in times long gone by (when people still read books) was called a "falling sword". Despite the fact that I am all against bellicose metaphors I see the point in this saying. It may work out for you - who knows - but if it does you were lucky, that's all.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Thanks Alien ..I have really learnt a lot from your charts. I have actually saved Engineer's charts and yours on my hard drive to go through again and again. Thank you for referring to post 489. I have read that again and it makes sense. Now, I have backtested this thing on multiple pairs and saw fruitful results in certain situations. This one on GU right now is one of those. I am not trading here depending on luck. As we all know, not all trades end up profitable. This one might be that. But after a fall of almost 200 pips, I do expect...Ignored
Disliked{quote} There might be a pullback after the strong drop but, if there is, it's going to be a slow and painful trade to be in and probably not the most efficient use of trading capital. Also very unlikely at this time of day to get a reversal of a major move. No-one seems that interested in using multiple timeframes for this strategy but, if you want higher R and higher win rate, it is the way to go. Less trades for sure but there's no point in taking losing trades just for the sake of it.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Thanks Alien .. what you said is absolutely correct. I completely agree on that. I am using M30 and sometimes M5. I have seen your past charts for MTF. Now that I have your attention a bit.. can I ask, what is the thinking process you go through when price reaches a level on say M30? Any knowledge sharing on this will be highly appreciated.

Disliked{quote} Perfect! For some reason, your these examples penetrated my head more than your previous MTF examples. Thank you very much Alien! Highly appreciated.Ignored
Disliked{quote} it's simple stuff if you can be bothered to remain patient. I and some friends are trading the above strategy on the majors using H4 to M5 as our HTF's and you should get enough trades per day to do very well.Ignored
