USD/CAD 5 min.

Maybe should of hold little longer, but look like we can be in the beginning of down trend and little overleverage this trade, so got out on last LH.

Edit 3 time, look at the price. Didn't go short as I was in gold and GBP/JPY trades. But could of snatch another 20 pips on the sale side

GBP/JPY 5min - Target was little bigger by 10 pips but price wasn't going there so I closed it.

Gold 5 min. I did bad on this trade. Lost more than half of profit by holding and being greedy. Lesson learned =)

Nice analysis. At some point that gap will be filled. I agree with the TL lines too.

ETH/USD 5 min (equal to 25 pips win). Was waiting for 2-3 hours after I saw price getting exhausted. Still pretty risky trade.

Regarding GU, I did not take 1 because I was waiting for 2. I need also to work on that. I thought 2 was too traded already and not exceptionally low as I like.

EURNZD finally only gave a small reaction there. Probably because there was no structure backing up that level.

Both had 5-4 pip stop losses got out with 11-10 pips.

I took this short today. The second test of that area.

The main price action seems bullish inside that structure and the level had already been tested before.

So I just waited for further confirmation to short it once I saw price stopping and reversing.

See notes on chart. Ideally we want only clean levels where price has not returned to.

The idea of compression is the same as presented in those links. But the approach/strategy is different. Compression is just a tight range where the market movers are slowly building their positions after which price moves impulsively. We are betting on the probability that price will bounce when it returns to the exit point from the compressed range. Usually when the exit point is not respected, we can trade the opposing retest.

In the days I observed, using trend lines to trade, you have to combine fractals to trade, and the compression zone is usually under Asian surfing, waiting for European trading.Too bad I\'m not going very well yet.
My account grew this week, so next week I will be able to trade US30(5 min chart). Look at today's beauty, only with risking 15$ on one trade and $10 on another you could get 200$ return.

To people who think that brake out of compressed zone always suppose to have touches, its not like that. Many times price leaves brake out and shoots up. All other issue are still there as well. Market manipulations, stop hunts. I love how ICT describes it, that smart money goes and takes out both sides before going to the direction it suppose to go (garbing liquidity). But the main thing is here, the precision of this system is great, respect of levels amazing if zone choose correctly. Draw your levels, look to the left and you will see how it was respected, or draw them in past and see how in future price reacted. I find this system has many positive sides. You know exactly what you are waiting for, small stop loss to better reward, no lagging indicators (which is big in trading). Most of successful traders are naked chart traders. Reading the price is the main skill you need to acquire and it comes with time. What one can do, install free replay on MT4 (there are programs on this site to do that) or pay trading view for bar replay (you can switch time frames there which is huge plus) and just sit and play it, trade it, practice.
Forgot to add, not all days are the same, but what great about this system it works in any market conditions which leaves you with less chances of big draw dawns (like majority of trend flowing strategies).

Do you mainly trade on the 5M charts? Why?
