DislikedBut know that GoMarkets are ECN meaning that whatever EA you use will need to modify TP/SL 'after' the market order has been placed. The EA coding will permit this function. I am also looking into GoMarkets as an overseas brkr. KevinIgnored
DislikedI used really low values because I was trying to force them into action for testing purposes. The High water mark is easy. You simply want that to kick in before your broker kicks his own limits in. For instance, if your broker has a 200 position limit, then set the high water position limit just under that.
The low water mark is fairly harmless since you are still guarenteed to make a profit or at least break even. I was using 20 positions, but this is a little probably a little low. I will probably use a higher number like 40 or 50. Do the same...Ignored
DislikedHello, everybody.
[font=Arial]I’m testing the system in demo mode using GBPUSD, 20pip y 3levels and high water mitigation strategy with maxpercentmargenliquidate=xy (x=Increment, y =multiplier factor) . DislikedOK, it took me a while to gather the pictures and do some quick testing on both EA and here are the results - see the attached jpg files and compare the reports for mGrid and ViperGrid.
MGrid does not have many of the protective features the ViperGrid has. However it enters at the right time and the draw down is much smaller then the Viper. No need to clean out positions
Mr. Viper, would you be interested to talk more about this. Any programmer out there?
Happy trading everyone

DislikedHere is how I have changed mGrid(please consider this as a suggestions to improve the ViperGrid)
1. Consolidate the pending orders - no need to have 3,4,5 or more pending orders on one level - it probably bothers the broker and more importantly - it is difficult to track and monitor the work of the EA. As soon as a pending order has to be placed on a level that already has a pending order on it - delete the existing pending order and place the total of the existing and the new lots.
2. See the attached screen shot. I have been using i-Regr channel...Ignored
