DislikedIve been trading NQ and DOW for the better part of 5+ years. My process is boring. I’ll only trade when it’s most liquid mostly starting 10am est. 9:30 open is always a jittery mess. I don’t trade the news. I’ll take the trade off the new hourly candle for continuation trade. Time frame is M5 mostly but also watch the 1hr. I’ll make what I consider a decent amount for the day and walk away. It’s boring, but I know if I stick to it, I’ll always be in the green.Ignored

DislikedI see people traded 15 contracts on that 150 K account.. its crazy...one trade 50 points to pass the challenge..Ignored
Disliked{quote} I'm old. But its ok. I can scalp treasuries till the limits change.Ignored
Dislikedrather than trade futures , it might be easier to find a firm where you can trade etfs. This would be easier for me since I don't have to worry about rolling over contracts on soybeans or whatever, rbob gas. I haven't decided yet though. although etfs I think you can only buy, not sell, if you can predict all of them like me, it won't really matter, just wait for buying opportunities and swing trade that. No need for cfds or futures. I'm not sure how the recent developments affect tradethepool though or others.Ignored
DislikedDo you think I'd get flagged for YOLOing an SP500 short on one account while YOLOing a NADAQ long on another account? I mean they aren't perfectly correlated but I think it would be close enough to pass one account out of the two.Ignored
Disliked{quote}-I personally have not made the jump to futures yet. So far, I have not had to, thankfully. Being forced to learn new things and adapt to a new platform is not something that I am overly keen on, so long as I do not have to. If things come to that, then so be it, but for now, it is not necessary. If these props can figure out a way to offer meta (or something reasonable without trailing DD), then I might reconsider my position. Certainly, the trailing draw-down sucks and I would argue that it is even abusive. The traders that are grabbing...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Im on the 50k accounts so im mostly trading Micro NQ and sometimes Micro Dow. Anywhere from 4-8 contracts at a time, usually after 10am est, sometimes in the afternoon. Once i hit around $500-$800 im done for the day. I have 20 50k PA accounts but only trade 10 at any given time, alternate days, sessions etc.Ignored
DislikedThe thing about the drawdown at apex and the cap on the profits is that it controls a behavior. Its not free, it doesnt feel free but if you are successful the money is decent at 7k a month on a 300k account. If I consider that I only spend about EUR2000 a month and I bring 7000 per month just from Apex, providing I don't go heliskiing or get sick again which I am not likely to this year I can save like 3500 USD per month to put into slot machines and I don't have to think about 50 accounts. The fact that money is less than my T bills though is...Ignored
Disliked{quote} nope but if you can wait then keep an eye on their discord. They silently throw 40% promotion once a month for a day or soIgnored
Disliked{quote} In fact you don't spend 2K per month because as soon as you are funded you only pay the lifetime fee (which is $340 or $360 for a 300K account) or a monthly fee of just $85. The "trick" once funded is to go over the trailing DD and have a buffer. Then you can cash out as much as you will be able to passed the 3 months.Ignored
