I use tradovate with its built in group copy function. I don't trade all of them at once. Have them split up into 10 accounts each

daily $500-$800 per account or a total for 10 accounts???
Sorry to ask,, since i am new to fututes,, it seems money comes and goes so easily.. I traded this morning 1 - 4 NQ contracts ,, P and L swing so big on 4 contracts ..I had to trade on M1 and M5 chart instead of my usual M15 chart...
I see people traded 15 contracts on that 150 K account.. its crazy...one trade 50 points to pass the challenge..

Whole values only. No .05 etc. You buy minimum of 1 contract.

Yep. The mental game to make $500 is much easier then it is to 5k on a single account. The risk (and reward) is spread across multiple accounts.

I have my own futures account with amp where I’ll make larger trade sizes but for Apex the game needs to be played a bit differently.

Ive been trading NQ and DOW for the better part of 5+ years. My process is boring. I’ll only trade when it’s most liquid mostly starting 10am est. 9:30 open is always a jittery mess. I don’t trade the news. I’ll take the trade off the new hourly candle for continuation trade. Time frame is M5 mostly but also watch the 1hr. I’ll make what I consider a decent amount for the day and walk away. It’s boring, but I know if I stick to it, I’ll always be in the green.

-I personally have not made the jump to futures yet. So far, I have not had to, thankfully. Being forced to learn new things and adapt to a new platform is not something that I am overly keen on, so long as I do not have to. If things come to that, then so be it, but for now, it is not necessary.

If these props can figure out a way to offer meta (or something reasonable without trailing DD), then I might reconsider my position. Certainly, the trailing draw-down sucks and I would argue that it is even abusive. The traders that are grabbing 20+ accounts and grinding out smaller batches of profits can probably do well, assuming that they can trade within the trailing framework.

Sometimes I think that things are unnecessarily over-complicated by design.

rather than trade futures , it might be easier to find a firm where you can trade etfs. This would be easier for me since I don't have to worry about rolling over contracts on soybeans or whatever, rbob gas. I haven't decided yet though. although etfs I think you can only buy, not sell, if you can predict all of them like me, it won't really matter, just wait for buying opportunities and swing trade that. No need for cfds or futures. I'm not sure how the recent developments affect tradethepool though or others.

No lots. Contracts. I only trade dow, nas and s&p ....I trade micros so .50/pt, $2/pt and $5/pt, respectively.
So if I'm trading 4 micros of NAS it's $8 /pt....60 points =$480.
