Thanks. Yeah, 5% of account balance. To keep it simple I always risk a fixed amount, 1000 USD per trade.

-Not sure what you are going on about, but my statement still stands. It does not mean that doing 2% per day is not possible... it's not indefinitely possible. You will eventually lose.

when you do 2% consistent, why you need to withdraw, because you cant do it consistent. i think you dont know what consistent mean?

the calculation is wrong, alone by spread you should have drawdowns. you have a platform that dont show your real drawdown because it calculates drawdown by not real numbers and only after a closed trade, or? so this numbers are total useless. or is daily calculated at rollover time. i dont know the platform you use so cant say how its caluclated.

i sound like a teacher and really dont want bad for you and dont want sound like i know it better.
maybe we can write in private more about this if you want, because its wrong thread here about this topic.

to be frank, this thread is not right place to talk.

This thread is all about prop firms.

I have gone thro prop firm challenges, funded accounts.

Have paseed phase 1 - 8 % straight in a single day of trading many times..atlest 4 to 5 times.

Now, the prop industry going tho disaster. I decided not to risk my money in prop firm.

Put my money with real money broker. Took this step since january

25 years, but around 20 in forex.
30-200% a year with 2 -4% drawdown.
enough.
0 challenges, but 0 from 0 done . any win in challenge would be big lose overall for me because of opportunity costs.
around 10% in 2024.

nothing like your big numbers, and i am just an average Joe. but in consistent and stable maybe someone different. so i can let money in account and grow. will not make a difference in one month but over 20 years.....

-Nobody foresees the losses, else they would never lose. But if you do not have a plan for when you lose, then you may struggle as a trader. Learning how to win is the easy part. Not saying these things to discourage you; actually the opposite.
