in general the props are 0 conflicted with the us rules, because its a damn trading game in a gaming account unconnected to a market (at least for all that dont place trades in real market, whats near all in currency trading).so prop has near nothing to do with real market trading. so should not work any regulations for this, but of course its a welcome reason to kick someone profitable out. any reason they will use for kick someone out, true or wrong reasons, doesnt matter. traders in profit eat their wins, the bigger you eat the more you get the problem, first they take care of biggest eaters until they come in good enough profit margin.

UPDATE:
Discpline pays off, close to passing Phase 1 on this FTMO account. Been trading this challenge account since 25.10.23, only 0,5% risk per trade.

What i mean is :

A prop account 100k is basically 5k capital account. ( 5 % daily drawdown limit breach )

A personal account of 5 k capital is similar to 100 k prop account. A 2 % account growth is 100 $ x 20 days = 2000 $.

A good trading system can provide more growth, say 4 to 5 % in a day.

An average 2 % ROI is good number though.

A personal 5k account can be traded as soon as the account is funded. From day 1 , the profit grows.

A prop account 100k is just a challenge account.

One needs to pass phase 1, and 2 to reach funded stage which gives 5 k capital.

So, all depends on individual interest what he wants.

Not speaking of the props kicking traders out. I am speaking of the Metaquotes ban on US clients issue.

Nice going, but would that be 0.5% of the alleged account size (200K), or 0.5% of the actual account size in terms of what you are allowed to lose?

I suspect the former, which means you are actually risking 5% per trade, just so you are clear on that.

with a 2 % average ROI daily you are the best trader in the world. not one i know got this number consistent over longer time. and you even say 4-5% is only a good grow daily in average for a standard trading system . what is a very good grow for you? 10% daily in average???? how you can justify this numbers without being best trader in the world? at least you should sit on 10-100 million wins from last years to justify this numbers.

maybe you speak about inconsistent get this wins by higher risk for get this 5% a day?

i have only seen this from latency arbitrage models or other "fake" trade options , who not really trade, more try to cheat around broker. and so many fail with this of course by withdraw money when not done with direct LP agreements.

dont believe numbers you read somewhere or someone tell you, you need to see it in Account over 3,5,10 .. years. then you know, rest is just the 99% fake you read anywhere.

i think you did not know one, you even think for 5% the winners possible. Trust me, your math is totally wrong in this point. i dont want sound like teacher, but this is a total big mistake you need to take look over very hard. because such a basic error can produce follow errors in very big money losses.

maybe ask anyone here about this, if they know only one do 5% daily average consistent over long time (and you even mentioned 5% of the winners have this numbers and can do so), so you get more easy trust in my answer.

I said, an average 2 % ROI is definitely possible.

My calculation is based on that.

-5% per day is very easy. Not giving it all back is the hard part. Learning how to lose properly is the real game.

He hasn't a clue, of course, short term it can be done. Long term no way. $1,000 becomes almost 6 million in 9 months at 5% daily compounded.
Now, as nsak3y mentioned, to take 2K and flip it several times and pull out 30-40K, knowing you are often going to blow the 2K.....sure, very doable.
However, if even 1% daily compounded consistently were possible, there would be no market.

The plan should be like this.

5k deposit.
100 $ profit ( 2 % ) consistent.

For 20 days, 20 x 100 $ = 2000 $.

Remove 2k profit and deposit the amount in mt4 account no. 2.

Repeat like this every month.

Once 2 % profit is gained, close mt4 for that day.

I would say, there are 5 % winners. For them it is possible to make 2 % consistent.

i dont know if you really calculate the number correct. thats insane numbers and i would have heard your name from my broker in the market, because you would trade very big already in only some years, at least when you do currencies.

thats a total dream, from this 5 % winners are 50% near break even winner.

you need to recalculate anything you have done based on this numbers.

If you say making consistent 2 % ( 100 $ ) in a 5 k is impossible, how do you dream of becoming funded trader by securing 13 % profit ?

I am sure, one would try to make 13 % in 5 days and loose challenge account.
