Today I experienced, for the first time, a freeze in execution in FXIFY of about 15/20 seconds. Not much slippage but anyway it was not pleasant.
I am astonished. When I do not choose plugin mode I do get aggregated data from Apex servers but ALSO when I CHOOSE plugin mode for market data in Ninjatrader the support told me. But I can choose non-aggregated data in Rithmic Pro. So with the plugin mode I SHOULD force NT to also get non-aggregated data but the Apex support just told me it is aggregated data anyway. Therefore any Orderflow chart could be misleading as some ticks are missing and only the sum is presented. I mean that is not so good as I do need to rely on incoming tick data, all of them for Orderflow. Anyone else has that with Apex ? Or is that with Sierra Chart totally different ??
Anyone can get real non-aggregated data from Apex servers with Sierra Chart or is that also not possible ? Still waiting for answer here from Apex support. Please tell.
I am the only one Orderflow Scalper with Apex here ? I mean how do you get your non-aggregated quotes from Apex server for your analysis/ Orderflow charts then ?

Don’t waste your hard earned money on these prop firm scammers. They know that most of the traders will fail to complete their challenge so they give you demo account and put really difficult conditions to pass it so technically they are charging you for trading with their demo account Better to register with a trustable broker and deposit your money.
It seems there is no way to get non-aggregated data from Apex server to Ninjatrader. So I can only get reduced shit data here. Is that only with that platform ?
Well boys I passed one out of the 20 Apex 50K accounts. Paid the ten year fee. Hoping to hold onto her for a long time.
Pretty much tried to kill 1-2 accounts a day being waaaaay over aggressive with a goal of passing one.
The trailing drawdown is probably 10-20 times harder for my trading style than a static DD.
Guess I am a Futures trader for the moment.
I have enjoyed trading price action watching the order flows, what little I can see of them(top of book).
Trandy1 if you figure out some better data flows on the Apex platform please share. I like Tradovate more than NinjaTrader.
So all together I am in $500 at the moment on Apex for the one passed 50K PA and about 20 days invested. Happy with that.

Support confirmed there is no way for getting non-aggregated quotes into Ninjatrader with Apex server. They do not know Sierra Chart. They cannot help me. Not good.

in summarize: the people here are not consistent successful (so dont have own money big enough or a job paid high enough or lost bigger wins again after had some, so anyone here trading the prop have low opportunity costs), they try to find their way and calculated its better to pay little money (cryptosurf or pipmaster77 did good calculation in this thread to this, sorry cant remember who exactly wrote it) and bring their risk to other company and hope that other lose a lot and they dont win to much, so to get payout.

and this can work. and when you have this low opportunity costs can even be good way, you damage the brain a little by bad trading behavior , but most people never can do same in real accounts so may not matter that much like for a good trader who wants to trade with very big accounts after some time.

so for some in some situations in life can be a possible way when they try to outsmart this prop, its for sure not easy to establish a casino inside a casino (that was your text about).

why it should be valid only one month?
how many years or decades you trade?
how stable is the performance curve (win/ drawdown ratio) and how big are the drawdowns?
how big is your own account inside this? when not big why you dont trust your own system?
what broker you use?
and this are only the small easy questions... then depends on the trading style (no martingale, averaging down, no latancy Arbitrage or other methods what never get paid out....)

so why you dont write your offer complete (and proof later by papers), until now noone know if you are good trader or will lose all in next days.

You can understand the retail props are additional diversification too. Because on brokers you can loose money too when you cannot withdraw or they go bust.
Only little money is involved in props, and when the payouts are sure, that is a good alternative to any broker. Even the biggest ones in the history showed they can go bankrupt too, like Refco, Mt. Gox, FTX, FXCM, and others. Only if you are that big enough that you can trade through a large investment bank which is too big too fail, then you have more safety. But for this you need at least $10m or $25million on liquid assets depending on the big bank. Smaller brokers are not sure they come and go as the prop firms too. So you need diversify nevertheless. As long you can make $100k monthly or even up to $1 million per month as potential like on Apex as some traders are doing it, then you are good to go with them. Who says that 100k per month is not worth to consider and you only need to trade via FX/Futures brokers ? You?
Depending upon the Apex server, I have seen real time and historic data differences. It seems, it’s as if different evaluators get different data quality. Occasionally Rithmic has a problem. There have been times when I’ve seen differences between the Rithmic Paper Trading Server and a ‘branded’ evaluator server. Anyone ?

in broker should not happen, you can decide by your own if you lose money with a broker or not in case of bankrupt. you can always chose a broker who is save until xxx funds by security fund or better save yourself inside the broker against broker bankrupt by have structured products outside bankrupt money. so this argument should not be valid.

you know that a lot of bigger winners in prop are marketing agents and fake winners (its best commercial you can do!)?
so you can say to anyone who lose " hey look at him, he did it with this conditions and had no problem to win on end.....", you always need to sell hope in the gamble business, and remember we speak about a unregulated game. how you would do in such a company for best marketing effect when you dont have any regulations or problems and can do near anything and how you would act to optimize your wins? anyone would do exactly same, so its just the structure of this market.
It seems you do not get high quality data from a retail prop. So you are forced to buy your own realtime data provider subscription. But with Rithmic I cannot have a second Rithmic connection into the software. So I am forced to look elsewhere. TT is very expensive. For IQfeed where I already have data I would need to spend $150 monthly extra for CME full realtime data. You get what you pay for it seems. If you can afford Bloomberg or Reuters data you have an advantage on the Orderflow Analysis. I do not know whether I should spend now more money on good realtime data. Because the Apex server is missing a lot of tick data and you get only reduced ticks/quotes which is far sub-optimal for any Orderflow analysis /charts where you are relying on such infomation. Too bad really. So I was also bit lucky today, because I stopped early today. You should check yourself on reloading chart /with tick replay so reloading historical tick data, whether you get a different Orderflow picture from time to time, which is actually the pity case (for me) on Apex. So I guess anyone else is also affected when trading Orderflow strategies with Apex. Must be said here.
