Yeah, saw that. This is locking, not hedging.
Without adding to losing position/using same size you will get constantly widening DD area. Spend more and more time waiting for one of the trades to turn green.

You need to add to losing position or wait for price to retrace or use tight tp like Waveskierrob, don't open another trade immediately.

Try on demo exactly what the guy on video says.
I am of the opinion that this is an accounting tool, and I'm using it this way, not a stand-alone strategy for easy money. Brokers allowing this because majority will use it in the wrong way.

Dead right just a tool for your tool bag NOT A STRATEGY there are so many ways to use this and with trial and error you'll find a way that suits your trading style

Actually tried that because of you. Used FIFO account as a newbie for 1.5 year

Hi Waveskierrob, so been trialling this for a couple of days, and got some questions:

(1) Why just the 2pip target profit? Commission and spreads will significantly impact profits, no?
(2) What happens when price just takes off in one direction for 1000s of pips and you are left with other trade just getting bigger and bigger in loss.
(3) Below is a screen-shot of my trades so far, so £19.09 closed profit, but -£53.57 floating loss. What would you do, as I am struggling to see how the equity would ever be greater than the balance. I am not being negative or unfairly criticizing your method/strategy, just hoping you could give more explanations/tips/clues that would assist in understanding how one can potentially profit from it.

Hi Danjuma

Ok remember this is NOT a trading system just a tool, 2 pip TP is just so you see the tool working quicker again up to your trading style how many pips you set your TP, a couple of things you can do here place the same trades again BUY and SELL same price with set TP's or with out TP's or open pending orders SELL and BUY say 5 pips from price no TP's or maybe with TP's again up to you, this is a trial and error tool, I can't tell you how to trade it but have a few ides and tricks, two things to remember your P/L will always be negative and you need patience, may not be for a lot of folks, if you find anything while trying this out please share as I don't have all the answers, hope this is of use if not no harm done, cheers

Don't believe anything this man say's "PRO" trader I wish, if I was wouldn't be digging myself out of this £77,000 hole, although they do say that the journey is better than getting to the destination £1,500 left to go, I thought I was a "PRO" trader just before my big loss, I now call myself a "Long Term Newbie" always be learning

Ok now if you've had a play around, now try this " Place BUY pending order 5 pips above price TP 2 pips no SL and at the same time place SELL pending order 5 pips below price TP 2 pips no SL, if one of trade opens then hits TP cancel other trade, if both trades open before any TP hit then carry on as before, again you can choose your own TP or pending orders if you wish

These days i'm on daily charts and using a stop hunting technique to enter trades. just looking for 10 to 20% a month from a small account which forms around 20% of my investment portfolio.
