....I find you will get a deep reversal into congestion zone, possibly even pinging the low (thus the need for extended SL level), when the market is actually in a reversal state (as is currently the case with the majors). When market is trending, in the direction of the trade, and the move into key level is just a 'pull back', the trader generally needs to be much more aggressive with their entries, entering on pull back to nearest intra-pattern S&D zone.
It's not about the pattern though. It is about the level. If you chose the level the banks have decided are going to be supported, then chances are your setup will work, regardless of the rules of engagement.
