{quote} thanks for posting. is the imbalance the yellow box? is it considered filled if price retraced to half of the yellow box and continue down or the whole box have to be filled? {image}
Ignored
The imbalance will occur normally after big move (but not those news or spike, it may, but not suggest to trade those), I will take the imbalance to fill for max of 50% of the long bar, I set my fibo according to high, middle, and lo, use that as reference.

It would be exactly at the yellow line as you pointed there, you can take the left side of the chart, find a similar candle around that area, we called it "swap zone" as reference, for me I will use the fibo mid range (50%), and u can also take 5 to 10 pips above and below as your guideline too.

If it is out of middle zone, that will be another kind of trade already, it may be reversal of the trend, just need to keep observing.

Hope this info help. Cheers.

Hi guys, I have just entered a sell trade in GBPUSD, this method is from a Supply & Demand trader (Bystra, the author of Bystra Homework pdf). Hopefully it turn out well and this post wont violate this thread. {image}

I can partly answer to the last part - go to the 30 minute time-frame and look at the price action from the consolidation and the manipulation both in the larger consolidation and the smaller one (previous Asian range). You will also notice that there was a break of structure.

I never understood the concept of HOLO and 123 thread,but this explnation gives very good information,so too slow should be more generous with his knowledge,because whenever asks him the concept of 123 open thread,he rudly tells them to go back and read full thread and no where in thread there is proper explanation and too slow tells everyone to go to TRO Alien blah blah.

Too slow learn something from these generous traders and impart your knowledge.

thanks Mentors and contributors for imparting your knowledge for free,im learning a lot!

According to Bystra, this is QM manipulation setup. The price suppose to go up when it reach the red box, but it makes a DBD and goes down. The DBD area becomes a strong Supply zone, which we can enter sell there.

You can search for her videos on Youtube 'bystra forex' . She speaks Malay language but there is English subtitle.
LS = left shoulder, RS = right shoulder. These abbreviations come from another trader on Youtube, his concept same as Bystra.

The reason why I posted my trade here because there are similarity between BOS and this method. The DBD area is considered as Supply Zone (Selling zone) , at the same time it is an OB too.

Thanks Pumi, I do consider the liquidity hunt and OB in LTF too when I made the trade. Your explanation is great.

no.
hedging may mean that one refuses to admit that original analysis was wrong even in short term, although longer term may be right.
but who knows may also not go your way, meanwhile it may also mean opportunity loss when good set ups presented themselves later and getting discounted prices.

Good morning guys! I been reading PDF and watching youtube videos from Michael and i find that particulare video: London kill zone. For me its perfect strategy because not a lot of indicator involved. My only problem is that he says 2am to 5am new york time, for me that 8am to 11am here in Sweden. My question is: 8am here is not London open, its Frankfurt open. Is that a problem? Or we can include Frankfurt to London? This is a very confusing thing for me, and would be very helpful if someone give me some answer! Thank you!
