Disliked{quote} Bitcoin is on its way to making a new ATH. If it doesn't happen within the next few days, it will likely happen within the next two weeks or so. It all depends on how it reacts to the double top. I know you don't agree, but there is a correlation with Bitcoin's price action and EURUSD. But more so with BTC and DXY.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Here is a comparing charts of EURUSD, DXY and BTCUSD. Charts disagrees with your statement, Bitcoin is on it's own. There is absolutely no correlation with Bitcoin. Orange line is BTCUSD Blue line is EURUSD Candlesticks are DXY. {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} I've told you before that it isn't that simple. Your chart doesn't convince me that there is no correlation. It is important to note that a correlation doesn't have to be perfect in order for there to be a correlation. Moreover, correlations can appear more clearly on specific timeframes while not being so clear on others. It's not so much a matter of looking at lines on a chart as it is a matter of strength vs weakness. We will just have to agree to disagree.Ignored
Disliked{quote} In this case about correlation between bitcoin and EURUSD, you are wrong. There is no correlation at all, if you can prove it on the charts, would like to see it. So far I have proven that there is absolutely no correlation between bitcoin and EURUSD at all. There is nothing between these to that correlate, zero, nothing. I will attach EURUSD and BTCUSD with following charts: 1min, 5min, 15min, 30min, 1h, 4h, D, W, M and show me the correlation. {image} {image} {image} {image} {image} {image} {image} {image} {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} Wow, you are really going all out here! I appreciate the time you have put into this. Here is another way to look at it when measuring strength and weakness for BTCUSD. When USD shows signs of strength, both EURUSD and BTCUSD show signs of weakness, and vice versa. When I see BTC increasing in strength, I know USD is decreasing in strength. I can also use this information for trading EURUSD. Granted, bringing EURUSD into it is not perfect, but it can be helpful. It all depends on time and context.Ignored
Disliked{quote} But they do not both show sign of weakness. These charts show that even if EUR either strong or weak vs USD, Bitcoin is strong and just going up. Where is correlation? Take a look that is both monthly chart and looking from 2012. Bitcoin is on it's own and EURUSD is on it's own. {image}Ignored
