Disliked{quote} If the bill had been passed I think we still would have seen downward movement on EU. The upward movement means loss of faith in the US government's ability to follow through on their promises. When they pulled the bill, it was because they realized they weren't going to get enough votes. Realistically this would have caused EU to go up. But people aren't always logical. So the EU went down. Likely people who were betting on the bill's failure to pass making a knee-jerk reaction to the bill being pulled, taking their profits while they could....Ignored
Disliked{quote} Right click on chart and hit refresh after you move the lines. {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} Truthfully, it probably doesn't have much actual effect on EU. However, markets aren't exactly logical. Markets are based on human psychology. And humans are inherently irrational beings. So it's quite likely that the results of the bill's vote will create a spike, one way or another.Ignored
Disliked{quote} right, i copied all your settings pretty much to see what it looked like and this is what happened... when i change the bar AWAl to 0 - it squishes all the bars together? this is m5... its also still only intraday market profile... {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} Try this. Go to 1h tf, hit refresh, add the indi with the settings, move the lines to where you want them - make sure ka is at start of period, kaend after the price and not the other way around -, hit refresh again, switch tf to 5m.Ignored
Disliked{quote} You sounds like a professor here (until I see the daily chart and nothing much happened). The truth is, Fundamental analysis sucks. Go technical. It will make you talk less and TRADE BETTER!Ignored
Disliked{quote} Good choice! Things look like they may head towards the bottom of the channel, but a wise man once told me "its never a great idea to short in an uptrend. Its always better to wait for the bottom and buy.Ignored

Disliked{quote} I'm assuming you're a retail spot trader? Not doing options etc?Ignored
Disliked{quote} Just making sure that your success isn't a result of using options etc rather than spot trading. Weekends are when I tend to do my research/learning and then I apply it through the week to see what results I get. Fibs have failed me miserably this week, but I think we use them differently. I don't use fibs to find support/resistance zones. I'm using fibs to look for retracements in trends. But every single time I tried to use a fib retracement this week, the trend turned into a reversal.Ignored
Disliked{quote} my last entry was predominantly based on fib... i sold at 1.0817 for +20... that was intraday fibs... mainly i use fibs across large swings...Ignored
