{quote} That only follows if you are earning 136% more (for the same job). If your earnings are flat, then you have plenty to complain about, but if central banks maintain the same philosophy (inflation=good), it will fall on deaf ears.

all u.s. economic recessions were lead with oil spikes. since the early seventies. these were mild compared to the 2008 spikes hundreds of % higher in 6 years. we have yet to pay for that. a reset is needed. energy tables turning is a game changer of 40 years erased to a new benchmark.

My thoughts on EU. First I was wrong on the Friday afternoon shorts. So it goes, but should have seen it coming. Where from here? As has already been posted by others, there is numerous resistance at price & just above. We have historical sellers in this area. Price is way above daily BB (but that gap will close when market opens the new day). One of the best overbought/oversold indicators I've seen is the DOSC, which I show below on the daily & weekly timeframes. Those circles show where my calculations (the horizontal pink line at the indicator...

{quote} 8 days away.. its possible.. i can't ignore how important breaking or not breaking this years high can be. i sell highs usually, but one has to be willing to close if wrong with that precalculated loss.. one could be right about being bullish and still it can have a drawdown of several hundred pips. the smaller norm even if bullish is almost 400 pips from friday's high.

btw this year high is 1.2069 , opened 1.2053 . the break above 1466 wont make a new H for this year , isn't it ?

you donot need a huge stoploss to aim for 1000 pips.what you need is to drill down to lower TF and enter a set-up coinciding with this 1000 pips move.so the price today is 1.1380.....

from the data below,the US cumulative inflation from year 2000 to year 2013 end was 1.2793 x 1.0679 = 1.3662 ----> 36.62%. One dollar in the beginning of year 2000 worth 1.366 dollars at the end of 2013. http://inflationdata.com/Inflation/I..._Inflation.asp {image}
