Hey guys, Has anyone read 'trading in the zone' book? What review would you guys give to that book?
Ignored
It is a good book, applicable to all trading, isn't a magic bullet though. Just some reading to get your brain thinking

Actually I've only been testing the Pivot Range recently after a discussion with Miss Pips about opening range breakout strategies and different formulas, so it's not part of my regular system. Since its usefulness depends where we open in relation to the Daily Pivot and if the Pivot even comes into play, its somewhat limited.

I did check them.Did not see any advantages over regular mid or quarter pivots.

am not ready to join such a stagnant trade. until we hit .1160 that's when an upward move will shoot.

{quote} Do the people in UK really drink Stella Artois? I've had a few- it's ok. Seems like it would be the UK equivalent to Bud Light here in the states....which is what poor people, college students, and binge drinkers drink, and maybe some of gators backwoods cousins

No, not really low grade, just normal beer. If you ever find 'Duvel' in one of your pubs, you should try that. You just have to drink(well in my case) and you will feel that already

I see that there is still chance for he EUR/USD to continue the bullish trend as the pair kept over the support level at the 1.1098.

I like lots of data. I process it quickly so I'm not surprised I have more going on in my chart than most but on my 1 min chart, which is what I spend most of my time on that's all over to the left in the past.

The blue lines are the bollinger bands. I use them to see whether price is slowing down on a breakout because of their influence. Or, when bollinger bands are all grouped together on many timeframes (like yesterday at the highs) then it supports my short.

The pink moving average tells me if recent price is going up (above BB mid) or down (below BB mid).

The chartreuse line is new for me, it's a 200 and I'm still seeing how price uses it. Not sure if I'll keep that one. Seems powerful on high time frame charts, but rarely does it see price.

The fibs show me potential s/r & targets. I look for confluence of targets to support a view that price is headed there and may reverse.

The light blue lines are ABCD showing my latest guesses as to targets. I sometimes put them both bull and bear and wait until the picture becomes more clear to enter. When price is going noticeably slower on the CD leg, it causes concern. I see that price just hit my 1.1151 target, but I chickened out and took smaller profits earlier. I'm all for building my stack and will take profits when everything is not going well b/c making money isn't losing money and it works for me. Your results may differ.
