everybody has been talking about 120 for months, same way everybody talks about 1.20 for eur/usd. nothing special about your prediction.

Yeah , I just did same because of crazy Forex I preferred to close them while in green so I could smile all weekend and dont care if it goes more down or else
People wont learn to post analysis in forums not "I think its down/up!"

not sure. i was one that expected 116.43 and 118.41 long before we got this high.. even before last easing .. and still do expect a massive correction.. whether it be at 120.29 i dont know. its done a 5000 pip norm and usually will react more then the 170 pips it dropped.. less then 2%.. 119.4 is tiny R

Gator... Thats because japan is keen to correct a 30 year deflationary trend in usdjpy... Look where the usdjpy high is at over the last 30 year and you'll realise 120 is actualky the 50% level...
If abe is surely keen.... We might see 200 on usdjpy for all i care.... And very much achievable cuz the IS hasnt even begun himing their interest rates....
We're only half way there my friend, plenty more jpy weakness to come...

i'm not saying that we'll necessarily see it (though I strongly believe it), god forbid when, just that these numbers get's thrown around a lot.

For a good reason it gets thrown around a lot...
But when you hear these numbers, as a trader, ask yourself why would usdjpy go up from 78 lows to where it is now?
Answer is simple. Look at the monetary policies between us and japan.
Us tightening supply so value of dollar goes up
While jpy easing supply so joy value goes down on the increased supply...
Put that together translates to usdjpy up up and away.

Though not as amazing as the few weeks before but that'll do.
Expecting the other position to perform well early next week,
Especially the eurgbp.

Mr Tyrant... Sir... Or other Fundi analysts here... Do you see the effects of Sunday's vote by the SNB permeating across all majors? Or is it much to do about nothing? Any real market moving potential other than EURCHF?
