Yeah, i have high risk aversion and trade very carefully now. I started with 2000 dollars in July and traded 0.01-0.02 lots most time. I have 2665 dollars now so I will start trading 0.025 lots now until it reach to 3000, but if it drops back to lower than 2400 then i will trade 0.02 lots again...

I dont know why they call people muppets or why some other traders think people who trade 0.01 lots are bad traders. I will keep trading my safe money and risk styles and see what happend after 20 years.

I think that's an excellent strategy and very similar to my own.

Good trading to you.

Are you kidding? You can't buy that kind of entertainment! Lucky for me, you pay for it all... I just consume it.

Something tells me though your account isn't much more than a couple hundred dollars at best. I try not to think about that though, it ruins some of the enjoyment for me.

I think if he aimed a super-long term trade for USD/JPY (5-10 years), if he longed at 77.XX with small capital, it should be fine..
I will use 1% of my account to long USD/JPY once we can get a positive rollover (probably by that time USD/JPY already break 80.40 or even 85).

Have you looked at his trade history? The dude is severely over-leveraged on every trade. He's risking a little over 1% per PIP on just about every trade.

I wasn't commenting on whether or not the trade was a good or bad idea... just the fact that he probably took a loser cause it moved more than 10 pips against him lol.

At least this explains where some of these mupepts come from, the gravity must be all screwed up over there and they see everything upside down, hence their lack of success in trading. They can't help themselves, it is genetic.

95% of people in Dubai make less then 100 dollars a month, so based on his ability, I would say he more then likely fits into that category.

BTW he has been trading for 3 years.

You would think that after blowing up 5 accounts he would have figured that trading is not for him, but no:

omg... that's so low... even lower than China.. (but i assume they have free food, education, health care, etc). Where did you get that statistics?? Still unbelivable... i helped 3 students from Dubai to finish their very simple first year micro-economics assignment, i was thinking to charge them 20 dollars per hour (i am sure it will maximumly take 2 hours to finish it), but they gave me 100 dollars and asked me just write the assignment for them, so i was so surprised...

for incredible, that's really incredible, but if looked careful to his money management, it makes sense because he had a trade that gave him 226% return with 115 pips (so on the other hand, if he was losing 50 pips, he would blow his account, he may not always leverage that high, but i believe he leveaged farily high and over-trade a lot, it is normal for people have 35 times with 50-100 pips floating loss in the last 3 years, therefore with his money management, he would blow his account)

I haven't been well, been sick for just over a year and have had to limit my screen time, both trading and forum related. Not much loss, typically I have never much fancied Christmas Season trading, but will be looking forward to another Happy New Year!

Seen that, I have a place I go to all the time for logistics reasons and they still have no snow to speak of, so gotta hang tight for another week or so.

That's the only reason I am posting here really.

Douse everything in fresh garlic and heaps of cayenne, you'll be right as rain by new year. Do it, and have a merry Christmas while you're at it too!
