DislikedA long in the middle of a range forming is just gambling in my book. I try to limit the time a trade spends as an unknown. But heck, what do I know. If you feel you have to gamble, the short would have been the better option.Ignored

Dislikedno you don't, not if you have a good tech set-up and plan ... most of my scalps are 'predetermained', it just depends on which scalps become active.
Like right now, I look at my last silver chart from 5 minutes ago, I closed that short & opened a long and just closed it and went short again ... all pre-planned of what 'could' happen ...Ignored

Still wonder why so many here are so desperate to trade middle of ranges without having a clue of the direction but solely biased on higher TF directions. If a retailer cannot figure out how to spot ranges forming and cannot see supply/demand areas on lower TF's then gambling is the last thing he/she should consider and never ever enter a higher TF biased trade on lower TF ranges.Ignored
