DislikedWell all, not a good first day of live trading for me. I was long at 1.4250 and got stopped at 1.4105. I've taken these hits before on my demos, so I'll try to stick to what I've been doing. I should have known better to not trade on a huge news day like this. Hopefully I can keep my head up and learn from this. The day isn't over yet, so who knows.
Anyway, I just want to apologize that I posted some msgs with no value what so ever... kinda such as this one... lol. I guess I was looking for hand holding or something. Anyway, hopefully I'll still be around here making new friends on this thread. If you don't see me, then I chickened out!Ignored

Dislikedthis is for you mike.. this was him speaking a few months back. (wrong pair I know, but it's the thought that counts, right?)Ignored
DislikedAre you quoting wikipedia?
Microeconomics involves the details of the economy which are relevant to the subjects I was discussing in my original post. Macroeconmics deals with the aggregate and broad subjects in economics but not the specifics of one household, nation or business. The two are not broken up by size households being micro vs countries being macro - that's embarrassing for you to say that, lol. Monetary policy, trade, are covering in both micro and macro, but the micro issues are what matter in forex trading becasue we are looking at indivual sets of data and not talking in generalities. What is happening in US economy and the feds balance sheet is a micro issue. get it?
PS: I leave when I feel like it. Someone has to keep you self proclaimed experts in check. I am still long and adding. I already said I was averaging in.Ignored
DislikedUsing money management? Because when I started trading I didn't use it, and now.... well lets say that it just made a whole lot of difference!

DislikedYea, I'm using it... correctly, I don't know. I could probably use a lesson. I will do some searching on it and make sure I fully understand it.Ignored
DislikedSo really the relevant points for you are the pp, s1, s2, r1, r2. All trades are short if price is below pp. Conversely all trades are long if price is above pp. When price first hits either s1 or r1 and then pulls back - then the entry is the penetration thru either s1 or r1. Are pysche levels then only taken into consideration if they also fall on either an s1 or r1 line?Ignored
Dislikedi'm kinda confussed here.leaving the interest rate stable, should that be good or bad for the dollar.?Ignored
DislikedHey ticker, thanks for saying something about eur/ aud this morn. I love that pair and still in a short for +271Ignored
DislikedNeutral as far as rates are concerned compared to expectations. Unless the market had priced in a hike or a cut...then no change might cause a measurable reaction. The dollar has plenty of other issues, both technical and fundamental.Ignored
DislikedYou can't be afriad. Just go for it, and be ready to ride out some trades on your convictions. Some of my biggest trades start off down.Ignored
DislikedOk, that clarifies it.....my style is similar, however my entries are based on the bars as opposed to price points...I think by combining these two styles there is a powerful combination to be found. You've been very helpful and gracious with your knowledge, thank you acumen.Ignored
