any idea why? Is the upcoming GBP data this week already weighing on that pair? QE coming for sure for GBP and probably sooner than USD?

80.9 Fib of today's swing held as support on last 15min candle. Can we break the resistance at 1.3960-1.3970?

Time should tell ... nothing is always as it seems mate. You wont be seeing that level for the next couple of weeks. Any sell-off will be contained by 1.4 in choppy trading conditions to start next week due to the nature of the economic calender. thats when I revert to m15 charts.

Here is a chart of how i performed today.

http://gitiha.files.wordpress.com/2010/10/note2.jpg

I made 30 pips short and 30 pips long today.

My take on trading is simple, have objectives. Maybe daily, weekly, etc but have them .If you just trade and hope to get something you might be very frustrated

Out for 50 pips. Will wait for a new set-up to re-enter short or long. Break or confirmation of fib and support resistance levels. Too much resistance at the current levels to hold any longer ATM.

21EMA has crossed 55EMA on 15min. Price has crossed back above 200EMA (barely). Would like to see 21EMA also cross the 200 or at least the 100.

We are also facing the 19.1 fib of last week at 1.3978 and the monthly R1 at 1.3991. 1.4 may come but it will be a tough road.

Plus as of yet we have not had a 15min close above the 1.3968 Weekly pivot.

In case you are wondering, my source trades on the EBS platform with level I clearance for a bank - where the big boys plays and all orders are naked plus amounts, 1.3980 is hit on EBS, but MT4 brokers still lagging.

I use MB trading, but having an EBS friend always come in handy. Get a dealer with EBS clearance, and you can trade confidently .. at least
