Damit man nicht immer so ein verschrobenes Zeug über Interventionen schwätzen, bzw. sich Geschwätz ansehen muss - wie in den vergangenen Tagen und Stunden hier im FX-KIOSK


Some thoughts about the Swiss Franc Intervention. By the way - we have not seen a big one. Within last days - they have not been seen at the market. That was only - rumors - Gossip - or whatever.

And what we have seen - in May - that was only a tiny manipulation action - or let us say - a little adjustment.

It did not cost them much. They can do so further if they like for many, many times - with the greatest of ease.

I will remember you some day - in case when we see a real INTERVENTION

LONDON (Dow Jones)--The Swiss franc has leapt to a new record high against the euro, with no sign yet of intervention by the Swiss National Bank to push it back down.
The euro dropped to CHF1.3744 in London trading hours, below its previous low of CHF1.3746 seen on June 8.
The move represents a drop below the SNB's perceived tolerance limit of CHF1.3750. Analysts broadly agree that if the SNB does not counter with a sharp franc-weakening sting here, then the currency could push sharply higher still.
In line with its usual policy on currency movements, the SNB declined to comment. It has repeatedly warned of late that it will not tolerate an overly rapid appreciation of the franc, which threatens the Swiss economic recovery by denting exports, and dampening inflation by making imports cheaper.
However, with the euro--Switzerland's chief trading-partner currency--under enormous general pressure right now, economists doubt that the franc can be held down.
