Disliked{quote} Good Post. I admit I can't write. You have written about this "taboo" subject brilliantly. Most members on here are short sighted. Very short sighted indeed. These members have spent very little time to do proper objective, robust and complete research. Instead they spend much of their time trading, yes execute trades. Zero research. To most members live trade execution is more credible than proper research work. How wrong can they be. Just read their posts and you know how much and extensive research that poster has done. The other day RickM spoke about "Thin Liquidity" (keyword). A student like me would research about Thin Liquidity and after that he/she will try to reconcile what he/she has learned to what RickM spoke about. When one talks about psychology in trading one of the first names that comes into mind is Mark Douglas. There are many trading books and materials that cover different topics. Some of those are very useful and thousands are garbage. You talk about frequencies (your summary of one of Peter's presentations), manipulation and illusion in trading and those are keywords/topics that can assist one to start the research work.
Now how does one go about researching about something he knows nothing about where there is no guidance (relevant references, books, authors, keywords, sites, etc) on where to start? Bear in mind the student does not want to waste his/her time to study the thousands of garbage materials that is out there (we've been there before at the beginning).
What I am trying to say when introducing something "new" give us some keywords, at least, of which one can use in the research. If I put a paragraph long search on Google it is highly likely that I will get garbage results. And if I search about what I think you are talking about (my own interpretation) it is likely that I will get irrelevant results to what you are talking about.
