Disliked{quote} is that MP from todays developing session? how tf do you trade it, it changes all the timeIgnored
Dislikedwell it's done. if everything goes well, i should be making the transition by jan 2018. meanwhile in fx.. price is stuck in yesterday high and vah..break up or down..hurry the fuck up! {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} Which platform are you going to use? cts or cqg mobile? And why didn't you go with a cheaper IB which offers lower daytrading margins (Dorman direct doesn't seem to offer low margins on their site)?Ignored
Disliked{quote} i'm going to use tradingview. daytrading margins are the same for most brokers right? (aobut $500 for NQ). they just listed the maintenance margin on their site if i hold overnight. but i'll ask i went with dorman cause AMP just a lot smaller we'll see what they say about dorman daytrading margins..if its large..i'll keep looking or reluctanctly choose amp. But definitely will be using tradingview.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Oh well they might offer them too but not write about it. Their IB's offer them - at least tf4l that I know off. Just cross-check their costs with other options too, as they are not known for being cheap and costs in futures can add up if you overtrade. TV version offered with cqg is a bit... elementary, unless you have a premium subscription. Check this out too: https://www.thinkorswim.com/tos/disp...bpage=aboutWBT.Ignored
Disliked{quote} i do my due diligence.. https://www.tradingschools.org/revie...-ponzi-scheme/ i'd pay a little more for some security that's why i've been with oanda all these years..overseen by 6 regulated bodies!Ignored
Disliked{quote} Whoever made that table is a futures noob. From dorman Yes, and no. I think you saw the amount on the CME margin site. They list only the maintenance level. Multiply that by 1.1 for the initial. ($4950) 20% of that in most cases would be the day trade margin, so $990. If you use Rithmic R trader, it is pre-set a bit lower. $500. Although that is always subject to change. So basically almost double margin for day trading... Sigh.. Just need a broker that uses web based platform that has volume MP.. Is that too much to askIgnored

Disliked{quote} td ameritrade (ToS) could have monkey bars in web platform, go ahead and ask them on chat. IB has an online platform too but it should be very basic, don't think it has MP, but you can go to IB through ProRealTime brokerage and use their platform which has MP as add-on with monthly payment. TTWeb has nice web platform with MP but has monthly cost (~50$/m) & extra cost/rt. For TV I think you can get it with premium version, platform cost is not much / month. edit: MarketDelta Cloud (cqg feed) also has Volume Profile which is not far from...Ignored
