This would give me a heart attack and would be unforgivable.
Ignored
On a side note and not to take your issue lightly it is very unlikely that something like that will cause an heart attack. Somebody walking up behind by surprise and shouting "Boo" will very unlikely cause one.

Usually it takes years of "abuse" to cause one.

In my case, an artery in my heart became completely blocked. 100% blocked. I now have two stents in place. Admittedly I put on some weight in the year before it happened and I was a smoker.

Stress can also cause arteries to shrink but that takes time.

It kind of puts everything in perspective. I felt great the morning that it happened, absolutely great! Felt great three hours later as well.

Sorry to get off subject but I was in good shape when it happened; strong, energetic and in better shape than most 20 year olds but that tiny little artery in my heart got blocked. It does not take much to block one. It can be microscopic.

I say this to all no matter how healthy it seems that you are. Go have your heart checked. Please, if you do not do it for yourself do it for your family. Take test to see if their is any blockage in your arteries, it is really a simple procedure but it it does not seem like one and it sounds damn scary if I were to explain it to you.

Good news is is that no permanent damage was done to my heart. I have quite smoking, changed my diet completely, keep my blood pressure in check (no sodium, no processed foods ) and I try to forget that I have two stents in my heart.

Sorry to get off topic.

I am not making light of problems people experienced with downtime.

Keep it in perspective. Sitting in front of a computer screen all day is not good. Get out and exercise and breath in the air.

Since that day I have become somewhat of an cardiovascular preacher among my friends and co-workers and it drives some nuts as I am sure I am doing the same here on this thread.

Sorry once again but I can not help it.

Not true at all, they had a complete MT4 meltdown, 5 hours offline in March 2011 live account. That is this year not last year.

Who doesn't have an MT4 meltdown on a fairly regular basis?

Hi Justin,

I just got an email for a private invite for MBT UK. Just can you confirm that there really is an MBT UK office now before I transfer over funds?

Thanks

Quite the opposite... this is by far the most active broker thread here, and I'm sure that I and most other FF traders who use MBT are happy to have this thread. He doesn't have to be here, so the fact that he is almost every day is pretty awesome, no?

Of course that doesn't stop some people from confusing this forum with an actual support forum and getting all pissy when he doesn't answer a question for a day or two...

Are the US and UK customer orders aggregated on one ECN, or are they on independent networks; i.e. do UK customers see US customers in the market depth?

In order to transfer funds from MBTF to MBT UK, you will need to complete a withdrawal request from MBTF and include the funding instructions emailed to you upon opening your account wth MBT UK.

I would like to know in creating a basic 1000 Tick (1000T) chart for the EUR/USD in MB Trading Desktop Pro Build 2.0.0.50 whether anyone sees tremendously erratic tick charts when the MB Trading Server builds the chart from historical data?

The attachment shows what I see.

Here is a 500 tick chart of EUR/
USD that I just pulled from the historical server. Why does it look like this?
Notice the volume at the bottom. There should be an indicator that counts the number of ticks so you know how close to end of bar you are.

Everyone, you might want to check out the market profile and improved point and figure in the new MBT Desktop Pro 2.0

Two things are needed for the point and figure:

1) The ability to apply drawing tools and studies and have crosshairs correspond with the other regular charts when scrolling - to gain perspective.

2) Years of clean historical tick data (and the server capacity) to build the charts.
