DE30 Feb 20 M15 and H1 charts

when I look at M15 chart, there ae always some noise seen with price pull back and colour change in the HA candle.

But on H1 like today, the 'noise' is not there and the use of the HA candles can help us filter those low timeframe noise.

Big E was right in using the APB/HA candle is his 5-Method trading.

In his post#2617, he mentioned about stripping his chart of all things including the Stcoh and the TDI, and taking clean trades would be a breeze. He did not specifically mention stripping the HA candles, or I missed that?

I am grown up here after 7 years and I hate seeing someone new hijack this thread and posting his own method which is not TMS.

I still post TMS charts and explain other things about trading in general to help others here.

I could go into detail about your Inside bars, outside bars, mother bars, pop guns, steam valves and all manner of other nonsense that YOU have posted here in Eric thread. So don't try to take the moral high ground here sunshine.

those are things which I used to make Post#647 simpler and clearer remove the subjectivity in Post#647. I am sure Eric being a learning person would approve if he seen its effectiveness. To you maybe nonsense, but to many others, they see value.

How close am I to the previous high or lo

Am I in an uptrend or downtrend.. short & long term...

Am I in or close to a consolidation area

Are the previous candles small...

Look at the candles on the last reversal... big, little, what

How does the momentum look right now (12-2, 4-6)

it would be easy of I mention for example there is a Master Candle which indicator consolidation area.
Steam engine safety valve analogy has a different story on Money Management, when to cut loss and not let Margin Call.

ABP or Candle bar.
Difference can been seen on the chart's.
- Prefer to see what price is doing during the open bar.
- Like to see the true length of the wick, the real size of the bar.
Reading the claim that all indicators are lagging. Can it be possible that HA is lagging price as well?

And you are missing one of Big E secrets from his old thread.

It is the reversal candle selection. And that uses the APB/HA candles which make it simple and easy to see.

Oscillators are lagging price. That is technically correct and is fact. No argument about that. Not just any mindless claims.

But the APB/HA candles are dynamic like the price. Also another fact. It does not repaint once the price has closed.

You did not pick the best setup which one of its condition is the reversal candle.

More about reversal candles from the old thread.

remember the basics of Big E TMS 5-method whcih started in his old thread.

do not be fixated to trade by looking at using reversal candles.

the original setup candles are still one of the safest setups to trade. They are conservative but with proper risk and money management using position sizing, you will find many trades and can achieve win rates of 45% to 55%.

An old post on How to pick a true REVERSAL CANDLE

"How to Spot a True Reversal(Checklist)" pdf click to download from the old thread where Big E started trading as a newbie.

You just need to adapt what described in the pdf to your TMS 5-Method trading chart template.
The same clock face angle 12-2 and 4-6 are use fo bullish and bearish reversal.

Remember, Big E blended two systems into one ... his 5-Method.

Anyone with problem to understand and apply that checklist can always posts and ask questions. I am here to share and help you.

DE30 Feb 20 possible trade setup entry

If you are trading the H4 with Daily and Weekly view,

here is one possible M15 entry.

I have two open positions now on Daily and Weekly.

Caution is NY Open later. If London is trending, then I look for also same trending setups during NY session.

If you had taken a buy entry at the 2nd candle, it is slow moving and I would lock the trade at entry price and place exit TP1 and TP2 at the two resistance levels above.

What happened when NY Open?

Those who moved their stop loss to entry price to protect trading capital, they all probably got stopped out.

After that, there were re-entry opportunities.

1st there was a classic 5bar swing high entry (see old thread)

2nd there was a H4 Inside Bar consolidation area breakout

the above re-entry were following H4 which. Daily and Weekly remains in buy mode.

Simple price action trading decisions.
