Technical Analysis Fallacy

--review and check out D1/H1 in eurusd and news events and we can see its progress throughout this week I think (not in a rigid way) including killing fields - but it is up to us what we think of it and what we trade. I have been long and a little short and then more short at various times - all in the money but all with care and caution while trying to follow.

This very morning I was not nimble enough but too prudent. So, missed my terrain window opportunity. Mind is not ready.
At the moment, there are signs on E/U long. How Long? I'm not in the battlefield yet.

what does this really means? can you please explain in plain english how this could be relevant to reading charts, thanks.
After a bad day.
It will never stop to amazed me how simple instructions are and how much work ( sweat , blood ,tears) it takes to internalise it all.
And FTI had a stamina to tell to "US" on and on and on. I hate this thread each time I read it after some effort to train i fell more and more stupid ( educated).
More and more things became obvious and i can not believe that I did not understand in first or second read. deaf ears i gess

For me, I take my expected direction from D1/h1 so I look there to find out if my expectation is maybe long/short and price is showing me signs of moving in that direction then I trade using m15/m5 for entry if it is showing signs of moving in same direction. I may not get such a match and even if I do it can still go wrong.

So if my higher time frame direction like today on eurusd d1 points to potential buying zone and h1 showed long momentum and then if I see strong m5 trend momentum long - I can go with it.

However I also take account of fundamentals which can act as a strong force to push market in one direction or other.

If price is super strong doing something else then why would I trade in my expected direction for now.

A nice start of the journey. How to recognize when the start is?
From my end the only to elaborate: it MUST take time till you do trading things on reflex. Patience and attention, focused and agile. Adapt to terrain changes and flexibly respond. Please keep in mind: "Watch your comfort size and stay there for at least a year" and the Emperor Moth story by FTI. Again, don't force.

Perhaps, a balance to get on reflex - if too patient, prudent, then too many missed opportunieties; if agitated or overconfident, then too often in Rescue mode.

Usually, when we commence learning driving a car, there is some sweat.

What is written above is of no intend to teach. Let's agree whether you are of the same opinion in a half year?

Friday was a day of missed opportunities for me. I had other things to do apart from trading and when was back (traffic jams) it was, regretfully, too late to engage. Only some morning scouts gains. But, there is another week ahead...

"Judge not the past errors. Learn and move ahead. Avoid make the same errors and manage the book, without the past hangups. Never allow the need to revenge if the markets had harmed you. Learn and tame the beast. Never allow fear anger or need to get even drive you into a poisoneous pit of decaying mindset. Learn, reset and move on with peace in your hearts, to do better because you had learned" by FTI.

Indeed, it's simple, just a Response Reflex in Peace in our minds.

Thank you for asking. Since I repeated some FTI's terms in my recent posts, I cannot do better than Alexandria but in my plain English language, briefly: on my trading platform charts I can see direction where price moves on different time frames.

Post No 57477. I may use a sort of jargon as South, flow, Response Reflex that I must admit might require a comprehensive desciption. Everyone is warmly welcome and has a right to ask or demand respective specifications.
If my English language is unclear, we have our English native speakers - friends to be of help. I would also be grateful to learn it.

MY view of "as above so below " is much different.

From my point of view the same patterns , waves etc. can be observed on higher time frame and in lower time frame. In the daily trend is 1H trend and in this is 5 min.

Just my point of view. But maybe i am totally wrong about this.

Thank you for your thoughts sharing. There are some points which drew my attention:

As per the quote above, I would not express that "much" different. Regarding the PATTERNS, could be a kind of bias that price might move in a probable direction/ or will certainly do in a predicted one. There is a difference. And it's about flexibility, feeling and readiness to respond.
Concerning "if you mistake the Way even a little you will become bewildered and fall into bad ways.", whatever is our MO or strategy, IMHO, the only rigidity I should allow is about PRESERVATION OF CAP, my Pain Threshold and comfortable sizes, etc. other security matters. This is about paramount safety.
Otherwise, "rigidity kills" (by FTI). Or, recently mentioned by our friend Alexandria: "I find whenever I am rigid on anything I lose sight of the now."

That is what I meant exactly - when m5 mirrors d1/h1 I like it a lot.

But whatever it can still go against us - market does what market wants - up to us which buses we want to to get on. We can be making pips but we are in killing fields.
