only posted that comment because there was a seriously big debate about this over at the alien galaxy.

some referred to it as house money, and like TS said, some said all money in your account is your money.

Ok maybe I'm just over thinking this but this part of the Counter Trade is confusing me some.......Price goes UP and we LONG, price reverses and goes all the way down and crosses our lower trigger. At this point we enter 2 SHORT trades. The first trade our TP target is 5 pips ( double original lot size is optional) and the second trade our TP target would be +20 and/or Daily Range. I understand this part...........the part that is confusing me is ............when we reach out LOWER TRIGGER and we enter our two SHORT trades............are we supposed to CLOSE the original LONG trade at this point? And if so, what do we do when our two SHORT trades that we just placed reverse on us.....because now at this point we only have 2 SHORT trades going because we already closed out our original LONG trade at the opposite trigger...........This quick reversal at the opposite trigger after we already closed out our original long trade is confusing me because we have no way to keep that bad reversal trade in limbo at that point.

I think you'll find you won't get much answers to this one. Here's where the key is. What to do when things go bad, billy isn't able to share much info on that.

t 08-06 i can speak now, i did a quick long on Cable with break of 04-00 high plus a retrace trace , i took 3 %.
I wasnt looking for 5% but 1%,
so 1% on break and 2% on retrace. I am done..
BUT i have a pending short on the Low looking for the Daily Range,
again only looking for 5%

    Shorted at FB low. Aimed for 5 pips below FB low. Clean trade. I was willing to counter at FB mid.

Nothing wrong will sticking a long in on the retrace ,
i will not be....
Cable 04-00 bar... High =12784...Low =12766, range 18

H =high... L = Low, high broke then retraced, we can still long the retrace, no idea how far down it will go, it might keep going south.

I wasn't sure if the range was too big (I need some Billy-Stats, lol) and I almost left it alone but as there was still a bit of room above on the 5 min chart, I went in. Ah well, paid off - sometimes you just have to take the leap.

The Frankenbreak hadn't done anything at this point, so I let it go and next on the daily list is the AU 04:00.

we long and it fails,,, we counter on the Low trigger....
we can either then look for +5 to +20 or daily range low? we then have 2 trades running.
the counter keeps running because it could well reverse..
example, look at today Cable ,, high has triggered and reversed, If it keeps going down to the low we will be -18 (forget spread etc)
counter on the low and we hold the - 18 in limbo.
Let us now trade a second short looking for +5 to +20 or/daily range low.
This is where different traders act to their trading attitude/method

look at one trade at a time,, If trade A fails we counter, it is now held in limbo.
Now it is trade B.
dont forget we may of had a retrace or two trades go in to off set the loss.

im a bit in the middle with that debate, yes of course in all actuality the minute u hit close and banked a return its 'yours'. but i definetely subscribe to the ideas of doing creative things with your profits to generate a better return without damaging your 'deposit' should i say. tbh i feel thats the only way for a retailer without a generous bankroll to achieve something.

and i think the guy over in the other galaxy 'M.O', who made use of the 'house money' phrase managed a 1080% return or something around that figure. lem would probaby know
