Just grasping the concept....

This seems too good to be true, how does one lose with this method according to my idea i drew out?

speaking of stats and whip......my first thought of a stat i was going to start keeping was the average candle size and the biggest candle size of the candles during the London trading session (including the 4 hr overlap with NY). This I feel will give me an idea of what ranges are good to trade to get profit and which ranges are too small and are more prone to WHIPS. I'm not sure how hard this stat will be to keep track of and backtest but i'm going to look into it for sure.

Refer a couple pages back. Me and bill both stated that 'averages' of anything are useless. Your thinking on the right path tho. And it will be as easy as firing up excel or getting a pen and pad my friend

You will have losers. There is no holy grail. Get your head right first and put in the hours (10000 min)

I notice that on the 04-00 bar that price almost always returns to our trigger once it has been broken. Very seldom does it seem that price breaks our Trigger and just RUN......I could see where the Retrace Trade could be very profitable.

Anyway to avoid or minimize this?

Are there pairs that actually rarely do this?

All pairs whip. All markets whip all across the board for all financial instruments. It's the nature of price behaviour in certain conditions. Forex jus happens to be the wild west.

I think you'll find that's what we are all here collaborating on ideas to find out. Billy laid some breadcrumbs in the forest for us because he's legally obligated to keep the loaf secret. And we are all here tryna Hansel and Gretel our way through it!

I'm assuming stay away from Red Flagged news events to avoid WHIPS?

Agreed! I think that within this thread there is plenty of information about WHICH pairs to trade and WHEN to trade them and HOW to trade them. Also plenty of information about HOW and WHERE to counter our bad trades. There's a winning strategy somewhere in this thread, it's our job to find those pieces and put them all together like a big puzzle.....btw I have "border" of my puzzle completed, now I need to fill in the middle!

A little bit of Alien Tech going on there, Hpt Me likee, lol.

I noticed very early on, that the mid-line was an area where price twirled and wound around, before either continuing on or turning. This makes it equally great for adding into positions as it does for entering counters.

On the upper time-frames it is an under-used (by most) component.

Hi Nelson and welcome to the thread.

I'm sorry but I can't share the main indicator. As for the S+D and pivots, the same is true for the pivots but the S+D is available here on FF.

All is not lost, however and I will drop you a pm with the info you need to get set up (where, when, how etc et al). I will try and get it to you tonight but if not, then tomorrow sometime at the latest.
