{quote} yes example leading up to Feds this week weds should be bullish for USD up to that decision on rates. So I won't sell USD!! Example I wont buy NU AU EU or GU but likely to sell specially NU You can call it sentiment but I prefer it being on right side with fundamentals and that changes week to week

Thanks for reply, how about those contrarian sentiment, for example when oanda publishes its customer position or CFTC publishes each week, and contrarian sentiment says we have to take position against the crowd, could it be a case to consider in addition to what you mentioned above?
Thanks

Its really interesting that people who are ready for this thread they get it start making money from get go and others have pile of questions and feel entitled for answers.
Does not take long to see who these individuals are! If someone applied this system demonstrated trades and had a valid question then I would be more then willing to help and answer but I am not going to waste time on time wasters

I have been trading for circa 5 years....the only and main psychological barrier I face is letting winners run.....getting out too early with little profit.....

I am relatively new to Davit's strategy, mainly pivot points....i have a great deal of experience with price action and harmonic patterns

Today I took EURNZD short at the WPP....TDI crossed over.....there was some structure to the left.....the trade started to move in my favour and again I found myself getting out early. The only reason being that I didnt have the experience with trading off the WPP.....i was fine in all previous trades from levels further away from WPP i.e the R and S levels....

I checked the trade later and saw my analysis was correct.....reading Trading In the Zone is really helping.....but I just wanted to note it here in case other traders commit these errors too....I will remain true to my initial analysis going forward until the market tells me otherwise - thats my mantra

I think the main reason is that you are entering the market with a high risk so you panic when you see DD and then the minute it turns out in profit you close the trade. In some way to avoid the pain of having a negative balance again.
If you read this thread there are alot of MM strategies that will help you overcome this psychological barrier. And read Mark Douglas book, it's very important to understand the issue.

Hi friend
Try splitting your account 1 with quick profits and 2nd hold trades. These way you can qualitatively measure the difference
Think in swings.
For inspiration read Sniperdebt's posts. He is the master of holding.

What is happening to CAD. It is happening a strong CAD bullish movement. After I bought, 15 minutes later it went opposite. It is boring.
