How's everyone getting on?
Seems the thread has gone a little quiet of late, typical as it is just as I come along (maybe it's me
).
I am doing okay since I came back on trading about 3 weeks ago. Still at BE overall, which is fine as I have much better control of my risk management, so I see this as a win for me.
I tend to go through spells, one good week followed by a bad week. I am noticing that I tend to lose on Mondays and Fridays mainly. I think this is due to a slightly slower market overall on those day. This is magnified by the fact I am only trading after work (6pm -8/9pm UK time). This is all I can manage at the moment so it is something I will manage and try to get it into my trading plan.
One option is for me to not trade on Monday and Friday. The other, I am more likely to do, is to be extra patient on those days and look for smaller TP but also be extra vigilant on my entries.
Still making mistakes but adding these issues to my trading plan as I go e.g. trading against OF, trading a completed ABCD without enough additional confluence. I did learn all these last time I was trading but its like starting again, but my learning is a lot quicker.
Took this trade today for +20 pips (wiping out yesterdays loss). The market is a bit rangey today so with a strong candle in an area of interest I was happy to take, which never really went against me. I was happy to get out before structure (probably could have taken a little more but left my TP at my standard 20 pips).
