following my post yesterday about expectancy , i'm working now on the second entry on EJ daily break.
in fact i came to the conclusions:
1.for the second entry the TP and SL should be the same price than the trigger entry. (by doing so i reduce risk 50% and increase R:R )
2. the optimal distance should be -15 to -20 pips from the first entry

Any thoughts on theses 2 issues ?

Are you speaking of the 1H bar or Daily break ? on DB clean trade all week , and i dont counter i take loss and re-enter on the opposite direction after SL .

Sorry for I am new to trading........So you set a 38 Pip SL for the EJ Daily Break NO MATTER WHAT.....that's your set SL number. Then if your TP target is NOT hit and price reverses and hits your SL of 38 pips...........Once price EXITS out the other side and triggers your next trade......you then at that point DOUBLE your position size? Then do you set another SL of 38 pips? Also would you then make your TP target minimum 20 pips?

No problem Bojack ... i open X2 size reverse trade as soon as SL is touched .and this new order as also an SL of 38 pips and TP of 20 pips
On EJ daily the range is often > 90 pips , and its very rare to have a signal on the opposite trigger . i never wait or even trade opposite trigger .

TP 20 pips is not "minimum" is my fixed TP I'm looking at 20 pips only. not looking for home run . just keep in mind that a casino have an edge of 5% over their customers , but the more hands and bigger bet are played more money they make ...

So you don't wait for trigger on Opposite Side to Enter Trade #2.............you Enter Trade #2 as soon as it hits yourSL from Trade #1? Is this correct?

Also, What is your initial TP Target for Trade #1?

So sounds like there are conflicting Counter setups betwen Lem and Billytt.
I just want to clear the air, bc once again this seems to be the piece to the puzzle.

In regards to DeadZone mostly:

Counter should be same or double original entry lot size? If same why? If double why?

Counters should close on next trigger if not when?

TP is
5pips
or
Midline
or
High/Low Body of Trigger Candle?

If SL is placed should it be where Wick Zones are in extremes?

Trying to really get the picture here to demo.

Over at the DAX-Monster's lair, I ran the 06.00-08.00 live with one eye on how the 07.55 thing went (but not traded).

Both hit their percentages after an unusual hesitation - made up for later, lol.

It's my customization of an indi I found in one of my ''millions-of-indicators-I-never-use'' drawers somewhere. It's time customizable, yes. In fact you can change anything you like on it - I did all the colours. I gave SFX the same one and he did his own colour-scheme etc.

I'll get you a copy (it's not Alien Technology and freely available here somewhere - I'll just save you having to search for it).
