I like Jens idea, but it would be hard to accomplish in the current political atmosphere. Think about this. Trump has a better chance of handling the Islamic radicalization problem because his mind is better able to analyze the problem than a politician constantly looking to get re-elected. He has a non-governmental cabinet that is able to solve the problem which seems to me to 1. find and shut down mosques that preach radicalization. 2. segregate islamics from other prisoners in our prisons. Make non-citizen islamics swear allegiance to our laws and constitution. They are out of here if they won't take the oath. It's going to be a problem that that will face legal challenges no matter what.

Here is my angle on this. We will not stop terrorism - terrorism is a welcomed tool in the West. Here is why:

The West meddle in the East and ruffle feathers. We open our borders. We wait for terror attacks to accumulate on our soil until it reaches intolerable levels. The public eventually then support a full war in the East. We then go and take their resources.

Close, IMHO

I think the resources are a convenient distraction. When a full war gets going the arms industry makes loads selling to both sides.

I don't believe they are. Of course there will be a few who tag along to all kinds of stuff. But generally these groups will be made up people who this has affected the most and for the longest period and they are rightly pissed off.

We have to consider that these groups were the ones who had the balls to stand up and be counted when nobody would even whisper the word muslim. The membership are likely to be the people who this mass muslim immigration and breeding program has affected the most. They are likely to come from inner city estates, were the housing stock is typically council owned or housing associations, as these are the areas were the numbers are concentrated. This is nothing to do with being barbarians, I'm a realist Jen and had my eye on this situation almost 30 years, no amount of talking and reasoning will resolve this. We have laws which they don't abide by, they openly say they don't recognise our laws. They only live under sharia, that's it. It doesn't have to be violent if we act now and enforce extreme measures but pound to a pinch of shit we will have this same conversation in 12 months time with no changes and probably another bombing or other similar attack. Meanwhile each year they have more males coming of age and ready to fight. They already consider themselves at war so no point letting it be one sided. Root em out and dispose of, anyone who doesn't like it, like the 66% who won't grass and the 78% of moderates who want to live under sharia law, can soon be mobilsed and shipped out if they don't like it. Mark my words this will never be resolved by negotiation.

Had to chime in offer my profuse sorrow about what happened to you guys. It amazes me why people who know they are going really get their asses kicked if the UK turns on them would not police the bad actors. I think the UK needs to issue it's own fatwa and declare that any terrorist that is positively identified as being from a particular nation, that nation will pay restitution or it will be considered an act of war.

I have Muslims in my family and friends, a lot of Muslims are white, btw, and no one can understand why the Arabic speaking nations cannot reel in these folks. There are no lone wolves in Islam. Someone knew something. I know this is just a diatribe because I know you have a Muslim mayor. I wonder why he does not issue a declaration that these people cannot be allowed to continue on their present path.

Earlier I thought we just elected the Clown Prince to be our President, but I have to say that his saying to the Arab nations that they have to drive out the bad actors was on point. I have to admit I am warming up to the guy. I think it is because I am beginning to see him as the underdog. He is attacked relentlessly for every thing he says or does. I did not believe our media was controlled by the far left. I am rethinking it. Of course I will delete this part of the post if he tweets something dumb. Let's just see!

Lets U and I forget our little dust-up. You are obviously an intelligent man. I am convinced the party system in our country is in serious trouble. The world faces problems it's never had. The present establishment politicians are not getting the job done, not only in our own country but around the world. I was completely against Trump at the very beginning but have realized for at least 30 years that something had to change. Trump is a different breed. In watching his trip to the Middle east through Brussels it's obvious world leaders are impressed and feel he is someone they can work with. The budget just presented addresses problems no president in our lifetime has addressed. Naturally it's scarring the hell out of all politicians because it starts to dismantle their power. As I've stated elsewhere, Trump cannot be classified as democrat, republican or libertarian. He seems to just be a highly successful citizen elected because he recognizes the country's problems and has set out to correct them. He tweets and holds rally's because the media is all over 90% negative on coverage of him. He simply goes to the people. I find that refreshing. I think it's safe to say that all the regulars here are in the same boat. We are just citizens of our respective country's. We love our country's and want to get the crap out and and restore them to what made them great in the first place. Seems to me you fit into the same category.

Two old men airing it out jarhead, I never saw it any differently than that. My struggle is that both parties have gone awry. I was in the habit of telling people I am a liberal, because all of our founders were liberals. Well, the liberals won the debate over the Articles of Confederation. I identity with Alexander Hamilton. Today, liberals are badly behaved, overweight women with poor taste in dress. Today's liberals are men and women who do not understand our prime directive to propagate the species and choose to sleep with each other. Todays liberals think that a crucifix in urine is art. Now I don't want get religious or anything but that is just f*cked up. We do have a nation and all nations have to have core principles. The republicans were the party of Lincoln, and of Reagan. Reagan ran as a republican but he was in fact a classical liberal. We are free to be free, get government out the way, but don't be crazy about it. In a way I am glad to see them squirm under Trump. I was proud to be a liberal because liberalism, ala, the Statue of Liberty, is what we are about. We lost our way. Now we have someone who has nothing to lose because when he leaves office his life will be BETTER! He took a serious hit in lifestyle when he became President.
