The ''system'' was never gonna work anyway.

It was devised after WWII when most of us worked til 60/65 then we died.

The idea that the NHS could ever support a majority population of geriatric OAP's was always risible.
Anyway I thought the justification for mass immigration was so they could look after us in our old age - Hows that working out?.

I got a solution anyway - I've been gradually divesting all my assets over the past few years and will die pennyless LOL.

I think it stinks. For the people who have worked all their life paid Tax & N.I. they get 80% of their home taken away.
For people who have lived off benefits most of their life, have no home and yet will still be looked after by the state.

Magog, Stu... I agree the system wasn't designed for people living so long. Something needs to be done about it.

Why though, should people bother paying into the system at all if later in life you can not even use it. Part of the problem with socialisation; you keep yourself healthy when others don't, you pay your taxes when others pay none at all, you work your way up in your job when others don't work. Yet after all your life living as a model citizen they come after you again, as if YOU are part of the problem?

That is seriously sick! At least Muslims have an "excuse" because it's their culture, what have these perverts got? Now I'm glad America has the death penalty, though I doubt if it would be used for these sickos.

My two (6 and 8, both girls) are at Karate now; it's their second lesson and they love it. A very useful skill to have in this sick world. My oldest is quite formidable - she has her dad's strength and now it's getting channeled into martial arts. The younger one has a way to go; she's only 18.5 kg, so unlikely she can hurt anyone yet.
