Still struggling to determine the sweet zone! for my entry most of the time I enter to early or to late. Cheers

Yeah, the concept of the sweet zone is the masterpiece of Bill Wolfe IMHO, it combines time and space, allowing zero drawdown entries on narrow zones. He suggests beginners to trade those narrow ones, as those are much easier to handle from the risk perspective. Steep zones require other filters like harmonic completions (AB=CD), fib extensions, market structure, etc... since price can go quite a bit before snapping back to equilibrium.

Some thoughts about what makes up the sweet zone and the difference between AB=CD trading and WW trading.
Why is the sweet zone much more powerful in timing entries?

I downloaded the pointzero wolf wave indicator does the arrow come in real time could someone let me know

Thanks for taking tome to put this analysis together.

I also noticed that section in the PDF, something to be on the look out for.

I think this video is relevant to the discussion. It comes from Damian ("Mr. Pip") who I really respect as a harmonic trader. I think this was the first video he did. He has an excellent thread: "Ratios & Harmonics: a Different Way to Trade"

Can't comment as I've never used it. Have you tried any of parviz' WW indicators that are on post #1?. I think you may find that they are more than sufficient and go far beyond anything else produced.

yes I tried your indicator but it locked the charts up completely had to delete it. I am not good with technology so i did not know what to do. Thanks, bob

Well it's not "my" indicator it was developed by member "parviz".

The newest versions do use a lot of the CPU. I use the 8.5 version. If I have a few charts up with the indicator on each, my platform also lags and freezes. What I do is put the indi on one chart, find any potential waves that I want to track, then delete the indi and put up the wave manually. Then I move on to the next pair. That way I keep my platform running normal.

I've been watching this one for a month and it's finally reached my scale in zone. Hopefully price will drift lower and fill up some of my positions. I have 40 micro lots ready with 2 pips between each position.

Gann believed the fans carried more relevance on higher time frames, the weekly being particularly powerful. Judging from that fact, I would think there should be some strong resistance at the bottom of the scale in zone should price make it that far. Probably not a coincidence that the 38.2FIB from the larger move is right in that area.

I think this set up potentially offers a nice RR. It will require some patience to be sure, but hopefully over the next few months the fundamentals and the carry trade factor will ultimately get the Kiwi heading back up again.

And here's what it looks like with the limit orders all set up. Just set them all at 100 pip SL with 300 pip TP. Will adjust TPs if orders get filled. Looks outrageous 2 pips apart on a weekly chart!

By the way the scaling script I started using has been such a blessing. Saves a lot of time and is easy to use.

the reason you missed this....you do need WSR!

when near super SR lvls, you can enter at 70-80% AB

Heres a wave , within a opposite wave . Not sure about this last setup , guess ill watch TDI indicator to determine. also gold opens soon so it could go either way

Hi Golden.

There is no "correct" extdepth setting. The latest versions of the indicator (9.6 and 9.6.1) both automatically search all time frames and all extdepth settings. When it's done with the search, it will show clickable "buttons" that reveal the waves it has found. You can then click on the button to see the wave it has detected.

The older version 8.5 does not automatically search for Wolfe waves. The user has to select the time frame and the extdepth setting manually.

Many waves that have extremely choppy price action can not be detected by the indicator regardless of what the extdepth setting is on. Thus, it is beneficial to be able to detect and plot on Wolfe waves manually.

Just in case you haven't seen it, on post #1 the developer of the indicator, "parviz1953" has attached instructions for each of the 3 versions I mentioned above. Hopefully, he will correct me if I've made any mistakes explaining how the indicators work.
