Disliked{quote} Looks like it was invalidated, on 30m/15m we have one almost formed in opposite direction. {image} In this case, I think it's better to wait for price stalling or some sign of rejection since price is accelerating (strength) into the sweet zoneIgnored
Disliked{quote} Looks like I missed it, was waiting for a deeper entry inside the sweet zone {image}Ignored
DislikedThree levels of FIB confluence, Gann fan, previous S/R. Seems like a good spot for a bounce. Raises the question that's been posed before: Is point "X" legitimate? EUR/JPY 30MIN CWW {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} Stopped out for -20 pips. Lesson reaffirmed: Don't force point "X", make sure it's a more distinct high or low.Ignored

Disliked{quote} If you change the scale down, it is a valid X point. From the examples I've seen, Bill Wolfe would have no problems to consider that a valid one. It did bounce price, only it was short lived and hard to profit from. Can't win them all EURJPY 5m {image} From a little checking the charts for history of non obvious X points WW, I get the impression they are still a good bet, maybe they require more consideration and aggressive management.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Yea I noticed he has no problem basically putting X anywhere. For me, I prefer my starting point to be at a point where price is already moving in that direction, separate and distinct. I like the subjectivity in trading WWs, just as long as the plan is consistentIgnored
DislikedInteresting scenario with crude oil Completion of a Quasimodo pattern at point C of a beautifully clean structured WW on the Daily. Can oil fall $10 to complete this WW? I wouldn't think so. Have a look. US CRUDE OIL DAILY CWW {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} Hey Expo, I'm no expert in Quasimodo patterns and I hadn't even heard of them until your post on Sunday evening. Please correct me if I'm wrong but I'm not sure that I can see that it has been correctly implemented in your diagram. As I understand it, there has to be a new extreme in price as the first point in the pattern and I don't think the small bull-leg really qualifies as a bull trend or a new extreme in price (?) http://www.profitf.com/articles/fore...ver-and-under/ Apologies if I'm talking...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Agree, having the X point in same direction takes also advantage of crowd psychology: {image} EDIT: typo, should be LL/LH {image} Don't like the strength of the waves (projection) but gives a practical idea of what I mean. Ideally, for the 3rd wave to have a good chance I like to see weak news structure lows (projection) with good depth.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Hi siawling. Looks like you got an initial surge in price. I hope you moved your stops to break even before oil price surge blew up all CAD pairs.Ignored
